We still have to face Forest and Newcastle. If we win all our games (wishful thinking), we'll secure a Top 5 finish

I don’t want us to finish 5th, could you imagine the bloodbath in the CL? No thank you, watching them play in the PL and conference league is hard enough

A lot can change from now till the start of the new CL campaign.

If we don't qualify, what progression have we made? It will signal the end of us being considered alongside the top sides in Europe & will hurt us massively in the transfer window.

I have just said to both my eldest and youngest lads that the good times are indeed over and after following the club for 36 years I really do think I am at the end of both caring and watching this absolute dross.

I get so much more from watching Northern League football, my 13 year old son playing and my 18 year old son refereeing at a high level

It’s fucking sad mate. Lucky you have found something else to channel your love for the game through… without Chels, I’m fucked, literally at a wits end with what to do in my spare time. This is gut wrenching watching our demise under these fucking leeches.

No european football next year is confirmed now. With this manager we couldn't do it. Some players are just not good enough or they dont want to play european football.

But with players like sanchez, neto, KDH, jackson as our main striker and this stubborn coach....... it was clear that we have no chance of top 4 or top 6.

i am telling you now that we will not finish top 6. What a waste of time and money

If maybe we had a different manager and owner we might be able to convince players we're worth taking a risk and joining without Europe. But seeing as we're a mess and this isn't just a short term thing no chance

The manager is at fault here. We're bad but we're not so bad we should only be getting 1 point from 6 against Ipswich. That is totally down to poor tactics and preparation.

I honestly would take FSW, Grant, Potter or AVB back over this cnut.

It won't hurt us in the transfer window because we were unlikely to attract top class talent (with or without UCL football).

We don't have the champions of previous years leading the side and we also have a rubbish manager in charge, so why would players want to join us over other European sides?

I can't wait to hear Maresca's excuses for the remaining games, we have 6 games left and they could all be losses.   Fulham will give it us at home, Livo/Newcastle/Forest have enough to beat us and I'm sure even United will pull off a masterclass as they tend to get up for our games.

Carragher; “There is absolutely no connection between the supporters and Enzo Maresca. That second goal, Sanchez decided to go long because of the fans and then he kicks it to their best centre back in the air who wins the header, Chalobah’s positioning is ridiculous, he’s supposed to be at right back in that sequence.

“Enzo and Caicedo scream at Sanchez to keep playing the way but he’s been influenced by the fans which shouldn’t happen but that’s because they have no connection with Maresca in the dugout”

I think Carrager is creating narrative to prove his point. Maresca clearly has no connection with the fans, but Sanchez being shit has nothing to do with that. Sanchez is just simply a weak goalkeeper, who has good qualities but cracks under pressure. Being influenced by fans and teammates is big red flag.. GKs should have cold blood and big balls. Courtois getting lots of shit from fans and he not only puts up with it but enjoys, and would not let 5 feet dipshits like Caicedo scream with him.

I know fans are supposed to support the team, but in my eyes a top professional athlete can either ignore or react positively to fans criticism.

We've been selling this project idea for seasons which has allowed us to sign promising talent. Owners forcing us to work with a shoestring wage structure will continue to work against us.

Maresca was never cut out for this job. Finishing in the Top 5 and winning a trophy should have always been seen as a massive success, all things considered.

Honestly take Ange over this guy, at least when Spurs are losing they actually attack and try and get a goal back. Enzo on the otherhamd asks for a doubling down on sideways and backwards passing.
