Special Juan 28,141
We bought Sanchez as apparently he's good with his feet, I said last year it's a myth, he's garbage with the ball at his feet and he should be dropped for next game simple as that bigbluewillie, kexik and Fernando

He chooses to do the riskiest, dumbest shit. When he’s under no pressure his distribution is actually pretty solid and as a pure shot stopper he’s good. But if we’re playing teams that like to press high and at all times he’s going to be a constant worry. Really, a much of what I just said about Sanchez applies to Wes Fofana as well. He looks really solid most of the time this season until,he’s put under pressure. Then he panics and makes schoolboy blunders. At least Fofana has the excuse of still not being fully up to speed after 2 seasons out injured.

Vesper 30,219
Maresca names and shames two players for mistakes on sloppy second goal https://Chelsea.news/2024/09/maresca-names-and-shames-two-players-for-mistakes-on-sloppy-second-goal/ In his interview after Chelsea’s win over Brighton, manage Enzo Maresca blamed two players for the sloppy second goal conceded by his team in the game. “It starts with Malo, who takes a risk, and then Robert, who takes a risk.” The first goal was, to us, also the product of some careless play in the box. Maresca admitted that his team will concede “more goals like this,” but it was just part of how they want to play. We can accept the occasional poor goal conceded, but we’ve seen so many games thrown away over the last few years through poor decisions from defenders and goalkeepers. Today we were bailed out by an exceptional individual performance and some great finishing. Against teams which defend really well, a single mistake at the back is all it takes to drop points. Or maybe folks simply don’t value thru balls like I do eh. Through balls work best against a high line, so a game against Brighton presents many opportunities for making that type of pass. Thing is with Sanchez he's reasonably good at saves but sucks when it comes to decision making, many other former keepers we're like this remember David James he was the same. Sanchez for this reason is always going to be a burden to us, how the fuck we got him and not go for Mamardashvili or even Diogo Costa is beyond me. We are going to suffer with Sanchez, at least play Flip until we can get a proper keeper. Magic Lamps and Vesper 1

It certainly did n't exist in the old years of Bonetti-Banks-Wilson-Jennings ... So, if it is necessary, it becomes an important thing to look into. Mendy and now Sanchez were the worst in that respect imho.
Special Juan 28,141
I said last week winning this would a statement win and I stand by it. Last season we would of drew this 2-2 or lost in 4-2 and now we are seeing starting to slowly click and football is being played with fluidity and a purpose. milka 3,393
Against the top teams, these comical defensive mistakes in almost every game will be punished and you won't be able to get back into the match after them.
