Enzo Maresca Thread

Bet you anything that it’ll have to get so extremely bad for this board to sack him. I’m talking losing the dressing room and being miles off 4th. This is “their guy.”

If he does eventually go I’d also bet anything that the 2 candidates to replace him will be De Zerbi & Cesc.

Rosenior is a real board signing

Rosenoir will likely a candidate. It will not only be financially viable for BlueCo but also something they’ll see as a real plus with the multi club model. I mean he hasn’t done too badly there but he is definitely not the right guy as he is going to be another spineless BlueCo puppet.

Supporters will revolt if they do that and rightfully so.

Fans can revolt… they won’t care. Look at the situation at Strasbourg, the fans don’t want them there yet they do not give a fuck and are running it as a feeder club. Sporting will be the same if they make it happen. Amongst whoever else these go for.

Regardless. Winstanley & Stewart need to go. How many wank signings have those made? How much value for money have we gotten? How many poor managerial appointments? As much as Maresca is hopeless & also needs to go, without changing the personnel above we will never get any real traction.

I cannot think of any signings barring Caicedo, Palmer, Estevao & to a lesser extent Pedro Neto which actually look like good signings for Chelsea FC (not Strasbourg) under those sporting directors.

Or the fella form Strasbourg.

I’d rather De Zerbi out of the lot tbh… but it doesn’t matter who we get as manager… It’s the owners and SDs that are the problem

Well they did got a defender but he won't be here for a while, Deinner Ordonez. lol

you are forgetting the inbound (this coming summer, we already bought him and then loaned him back) Mamadou Sarr (from Strasbourg and who is a replacement for Disasi and hopefully the SHIT OF SHITTERS Tosin)

BUT

Sarr is another right-footed RCB

same for the returning-from-loan Aarón Anselmino (unless cheap AF Dortmund meet our price, which is unlikely)

we have only 2 lefty CBs (plus the hybrid lefty teen Hato, who is 75 per cent a LB, not so much a LCB)

one is injured and out for the season (probably) Colwill (and NO guarantees on how bad the injury has perma fucked him (hopefully not at all)

and then the TURGID Badiashile

They’ll never go for De Zebri, I know he has Brighton ties but he’d potentially be too volatile a personality for BlueCo.

He would want a lot more say than Maresca & Pochettino got in terms of recruitment also. He was extremely critical of Brighton’s recruitment in his second season which led to their desire to part ways with him. Could you imagine dumb & dumber’s egos here if he called them out for shockingly poor recruitment (despite most of their signings being gash)?

He has never lasted longer than 2 years at the 8 clubs he’s been at other than at Sassuolo, which is alarming.
