EskWeston 696
Aguero for me would probably be the best signing we could make, considering age and talent. But also more than likely the hardest.

Term-X 7,891
This is a man I really REALLY WANT!! Liverpool - Torres United - Ronaldo Chelsea - Aguero?? Drogba is our top striker, but yes aguero would be a quality addition.

Term-X 7,891
Benzema is a better all round player than aguero you know they both have great future's but Benzema has the whole package of strength & power, physically and skill wise he's basicly zidane exept from he plays up front. Term-X 7,891
how many games do you watch of both players i've seen benzema in action a few times and i've read a hell lot of intelligent articles about him. and he's clearly more of a complete player, he has the capabilities of becoming a legend. Gerrard is a more complete player than kaka or messi it does not make him the better player. Benzema is class i like him i think he has potential, but sergio aguero is so good he is a player who is world class already.
BlueLion. 21,491
Both players are absolutely brilliant. But they're both completely different types of strikers; you wouldn't compare Davies and Torres, yet both are effective in their respective roles. I do feel Benzema would suit our system moreso, but Aguero's fucking awesome, to put it bluntly.

Aguero's versatility in the front 3 is why he would be my main transfer target this summer. It doesn't seem though that at the moment he is very interested in moving away from Atletico which is why there isn't much noise about him.... warnie_666 1,081
I thought Aguera plays as an out an out Striker.....He plays on wings as well?
riks12 3
He can play as a winger even though it's not his natural position. But with his great technique and pace he would surely do well as a winger. He can also play as an attacking midfielder, but I doubt we'd use him in this position, if we sign him.

Like the person above said, you can't see how good, or not so good he is in a few games. Plus, you may be showing some bias towards Benzema there, because if you#ve "read a hell of a lot of intelligent articles about him", then no wonder you're under the influence that he's so good. Any writer of some sort can make a play sound good, and overexaggerate there abilities. Benzema's good, but he's no where near as good as everyone seems to make out. I watch a lot of Atletico games on GolTV here in the states. We get a lot of Barca, Real, Atleti, and sevilla games on gol tv. Lots of replays. Anyways, Atletico is a great team to watch. Forlan, Agüero, Simão, and Maxi Rodriguez are brilliant to watch. Excellent passing, amazing moves and pace, and a constant attacking nature. Aguero and Forlan are a big part of this. Watch any game and you'll fall in love with the partnership these two have formed. Forlan leads the league in goals because of the attention Agüero requires from defenders. If Aguero was a world class finisher he could have 30+ goals a season. He's constantly getting the ball behind the back 4. Typically he shoots wide. The biggest weakness in his game is his finishing. Without a doubt though he's worth having on the team just because of the pressure he causes the defense, his pace, and his passing. Aguero is still very raw in his game, but that's the beauty of it. If he can learn to be more accurate with his shots he's going to be an unstoppable player. I can't tell you how happy I'd be to sign Agüero. We need more players who can control the ball and slice through the back four and Agüero is just that.
Milan 17,959
Aguero proud of Chelsea link Setanta Atletico Madrid star Sergio Aguero says he is ‘proud’ to be linked with a big-money move to Chelsea. The Argentina striker, 21, has been linked with a £50 million switch to Stamford Bridge and his agent claimed that the player was a target for several major sides in Europe. And although Aguero has been keen to stress his commitment to Atleti, he has now revealed he is flattered by the interest. “It makes me feel proud a team as important as Chelsea notices me,” he said in The People. Manchester City have also been linked with Aguero.
chelsea_4_eva 1,182
if we get aguero..... he and di santo (both argentinian) could be the strike force of Chelsea..... but i don't really care who we sign as long as it's aguero or benzema.....
