The Next Manager?

That's exactly what he should do. Look at Fergie, and to a lesser extent Wenger. They have complete control of there clubs. Even though Wenger hasn't won much, he has done pretty well getting Le'arse into the top 4 every season with the same players.

Roman, should have little or no say when it comes to team selection, transfers, tactics etc. We have coaches and scouts for that.

Fergie doesn't have complete control, and even if he did his success wasn't instantaneous by any stretch of the imagination. Coaches nowadays aren't going to spend decades at one club, so there has to be consistency above them and we do have that in some way.

The biggest problem I have with us getting Mourinho is that what is happening at Real Madrid right now isn't that surprising In fact it's rather reminiscent of his last days at Chelsea, and bringing him back when he already has a huge amount of history with Roman doesn't seem to be the best idea.

Yea, Wenger does have control of shitty Arsenal. The result, nothing for 8 years. He has done well by finishing in top 4 for years. Well, fuck that, I might say. I do not want to see Chelsea ending 4th every year, Do you ?

As for Roman giving complete control to Jose. Sorry but you are very naive to think that. It will never happen & I agree with it.

If I were to invest money into any entity, I would not want some yo-yo running it as he pleases. No way Jose.

Roman would know by now that he fucked up when it came to Jose. If reports are true, he and Jose mended there relationship and still stay in contact. For me, Guardiola, is a decent manager, but had the best players in the world to work with. Jose came here, bought a handful of decent players from around the world, mixed them with what we had and made us one of the best teams in the world. Nobody else could do that in my opinion.

Give Wenger money and i guarantee they would be top of the EPL. We can thank the arabs that they are still paying off a Stadium.

As far as your "no way Jose" comment, who would you prefer??

Wenger has plenty of money now. What has he done, so far ? Nothing. He is too cheap to spend it. Wenger should be hired as a football scout for Chelsea to find talents, that´s all. As a manager, he is a failure for 8 years.

Who would I prefer, you asked ? I honestly, do not know at the moment.

Just one small question, if I may. Would you be willing to send me 5000 € but don´t ask me anything how I am going to spend it, invest it. I will let you know later, how my investment is doing.

It's one think 'mending a relationship' when you've gone separate ways but it's different when you start working with one another and have that first disagreement. It's too easy to drag up old shit.

Guardiola is a world-class man manager from everything I've read about him, and he'd be comfortable working in the current structure we have in place. That is preferable to pulling down everything we've put in place and letting Mourinho have total control. Personally I don't know if that chimes well with what we've got regarding the academy and our transfer system.

I guess only time will tell. I just don't want to risk getting another dud. Who knows, he may turn out to be an amazing manager, but on the other hand, he could be another 6 month wonder.. At least we know what we'll be getting with Jose.

The Sun?

He was set for City a month ago. He was set for Chelsea a week ago. He's set for City again.

Expect a lot of this media bullshit over the following months.
