The funny thing is, felt like RDZ would have been our manager if he waited it out after leaving Marseille with all the brighton boys upstairs

Pizy 19,280 Posted yesterday at 13:59 Share Posted yesterday at 13:59 I’m fairly convinced it’ll be Iraola at the moment. It’s the easiest appointment they could probably make because he’ll be free from a club, he’ll be fairly easy to sell to the supporters, and because I don’t know of another big club of our stature that’ll be after him this summer with Carrick seemingly more and more likely to stay at United. With guys like Alonso it will probably be much more of a battle to convince him to come here. Even Cesc who may be smart enough to know that he could get Rosenior’d and make the jump too soon. Give them a gold plated bucket to shit in! If we had a stable couple of years with Maresca and was looking for a change, then I'd be all over Cesc. Unfortunately, the chaos around the club means we need a safer appointment.
Strike 7,791 Posted yesterday at 14:09 Share Posted yesterday at 14:09 FWIW - Kaveh is a 100% bullshitter and a tier 5 reliability source. But the one thing to consider with Cesc is to be in his ear for a future path to being manager here.

Vesper 31,105
Matt Law Special - Chelsea's Manager Search, Players Crybabies? This episode of London Is Blue features Nick and Matt Law analyzing the "insane" managerial instability at Chelsea following the sacking of Liam Rosenior, the club's sixth managerial change under current ownership. Law evaluates potential successors—highlighting Xabi Alonso, Andoni Iraola, and Marco Silva—while emphasizing that the next hire needs the "gravitas" to manage a fragile locker room that has recently "downed tools." Despite the current "bin fire" reputation and a structure that makes Roman Abramovich look "soft" by comparison, Law argues the job remains highly attractive because the squad possesses high-level talent that could be transformed by a successful summer transfer window. 01:22 – The State of Managerial Turnover in the Premier League 03:45 – The "Abramovich Look Like a Big Softy" Comparison 04:00 – The Current "Bad Vibes" and Sacking Statistics 05:28 – The Fallout of the Liam Rosenior Sacking 10:45 – Player Reactions to Maresca's Departure 11:55 – The "Washing Machine" Effect of Chelsea Management 14:49 – Official Statements and the "Self-Reflection" Tweak 16:18 – The Managerial Candidate Rundown: Alonso, Silva, and Iraola 17:45 – Criteria for the Next Hire: Collaboration and Experience 20:44 – The Need for "Gravitas" and Dominant Personalities 24:24 – Maximizing Talent vs. Adhering to Philosophy 27:52 – The Lack of Natural Leadership in the Locker Room 28:18 – Assessing the Attractiveness of the Chelsea Job 31:05 – The Reality of Modern Six-Month Contracts 32:25 – The Future of the Sporting Structure and Directors 33:49 – Defending Past Appointments: Maresca and Pochettino 45:20 – Future Transfer Window Outlook and Closing Remarks
