Yes and also imagine you have good players and you are buying new players, how older players will have any confidence and will? Relation became unstable for every player that is the one of the reason why they dont have passion and will to do something because they can be changed easily even if they are good, which we all saw how much players we are buying. Imagine you have wife and you tell her I will broke up with you in few months why would she do any good for marrige or something etc... This was metaforic example... What to fight for ? For club who will kick you even if you are good.... I mean to bad tactic with just buying players...

I don't think anyone is thinking or expecting that we can repeat that and win the league next season, but I think it should be realistic to be qualifying for the Champions League again, especially as I believe there may well be 5 spots instead of 4 next year (correct me if I'm wrong).

If that squad can be trimmed down successfully and a goal scorer is added, we're not going to be too far off. Having no European football will give us full weeks to prepare tactically, stay fit and fresh throughout the season, less travel and enjoy a much more kinder schedule in general instead of being crammed into stupid time slots due to mid week games.

For someone like Poch, it is probably a perfect situation for the first year to allow him more time to work with the group of players.

For me, the aim at the start of next season should be qualifying for the Champions League for 24/25 and a couple of good cup runs domestically where both can be focused without European football. I don't see this as unrealistic.

The biggest question will be, what does the squad look like next season?

Let's say Gallagher, Kovacic & Mount were to depart, your left with Enzo & Kante as first XI midfielders, with the likes of Carney as squad rotation.

Defense will be the same next season with the addition of Colwill and possibly the sale of Chalobah.

GK is a massive call for the club as Kepa isn't good enough to be first choice if we are planning on returning to the UCL spots.

Attack is borderline pathetic.   So many individuals but none of them seem to be able to play together.   We really went from Mata, Hazard, Willian & Costa to Ziyech, Pulisic, Havertz and Auba...talk about drop off in quality.

I dont think Galla and Mount will be sold to anyone, Kovacic probably and Abumeyang, Ziyech as well and if we get lucky to sell Pulisic. Kante I think his contract is expiring and he might leave us

Gary Neville has slammed Todd Boehly for creating a 'mess' at Chelsea as he urged the American to 'stop meddling' with football matters.

'It was the best team on paper I've ever seen play as badly as that. It was a shambles in the first half,' Neville, said. 'Pathetic.

'There were World Cup winners, internationals, so expensive - I can't believe it. Frank Lampard will be thinking the same. They were as bad as I've seen.

He continued: 'It all comes from the top. It's been chaotic, a mess since day one. Boehly has had a nightmare and misread this league. I'm sure he'll learn quickly.

'What has happened this season is purely down to him. He needed to keep the footballing department together. He's the non-footballing department.

'You're the owner. You're not a player or a coach. You've got no experience in this league so stay where you are and allow the people to run the football club [who have done so] successfully over the last 10 years.

'Try and get a year out of them to learn the ropes and keep the stability and consistency of Chelsea.

'Petr Cech left, Marina Granovskaia left, Thomas Tuchel was gone after a few games and all of a sudden you're in complete turmoil.

Then they flipped it to a model giving players eight-year contracts to 22-year-olds!

'When you start sacking groundsmen, physios, sports scientists, directors, managers, then you are throwing everyone under a bus saying, "it's their fault not mine".

'Chelsea had a successful way of running the club. This is now what Boehly has created.

'He created this mess. Like playing football manager, it's been terrible.'

Despite Chelsea's troubles this season, Neville also believes they have the potential to finish in the top three next year.

'I do think someone will mould them into a decent team and challenge for top four and trophies,' said Neville. 'I think they are capable of challenging the top three.'

I do think signing so many players in a short space and then not having a manager prepared to focus on finding a settled starting team from that has contributed on the attacking front. Easier said than done, but I do think bigger and more experienced managers than Potter would have recognised trying to keep 30 players happy was impossible and as a result some would need to be simply left out.

I don't think our wide options are too bad, particularly if a goal scorer can be added who can take that burden off the team, and some of these younger players like Mudryk and Madueke need the chance to simply grow and develop under a better coach in a settled and structured environment.

There are twitter accounts, Chelsea Transfers and Pys that have re-tweets that the owners have reached agreement with Poch and the first thing Poch has asked for is to reach out to Lukaku. Waiting for some of the bigger sources to pick up on it because I do not recognize any source that is saying the agreement is done. Perhaps there is movement today?

As much as I don't want to see that Donkey back in a Chelsea shirt... for all his faults he actually would be an improvement on what we currently have... thats how bad it is.

We are in a catch-22 with Lukaku because it's clear if he's on the pitch some areas of our all round game will potentially suffer as he won't press like other players and his hold-up/technical game is limited at best. However he is a goal scorer, if we're looking for someone who can score goals specifically then there are very few currently better than him that would be available on the current market.

As frustrating as it is, anyone who thinks we wouldn't be at least a few points better off than we currently are, if we had kept him here they are kidding themselves.

We will have to wait and see. He isn't Drogba, he needs players close to him to get the best out of him, like Conte did at Inter having Martinez playing up top with him. Perhaps if someone like Nkunku is coming in and playing as a genuine number 10, close to him, it could potentially work pretty well and make us significantly more dangerous in attack.

He would actually be a really good 'alternative' striking option at the club regardless, if his ego didn't prevent him from embracing a role within the squad instead of assuming he should be treated like one of the world's best players. That is ultimately my biggest concern with him if things don't start that well, Poch could suddenly find himself with a difficult presence within the squad. It is a risk he's going to have to weigh up.
