Still think it'll most likely be Conte, whom I actually prefer over Simeone if I'm honest.

I still don't understand why you believe its going to e Conte, actually I don't even believe Conte is a candidate at all. For me its just like this: Conte seems to be willing to leave Italy after Euro 16, Chelsea is looking for a manager. Humm, lets make some news about Chelsea and Conte.

Conte is really a very unChelsea move, so its easier to see Sampaoli getting the job than Conte.

Yeah, of course availability plays a part and Conte is the most available top manager which makes him the most realistic, imo.

I think Sampaoli is a much more of a risk than Conte and I don't think the board will take high risks after a season like this.

On any account, I'd be satisfied with any of the four who are being mentioned, even Simeone who I don't personally like.

I want a coach who :

  • make the team playing  well without losing the ability to win
  • give a change at youngs!
  • has ideas and does not face putting your feet in the head by the leadership
  • does not demand new players but know train and improve those that he has
  • It is not a wanker and knows how  enforce the training methods
  • who remembers to the players that they are athletes, so they must have a heavy diet and right life's style

To me unless Simeone is coming this summer all these other managers should not be gotten this summer. We should just let Hiddink stay the next season and we can work on getting our new incoming manager with ease in the new season.

Let's learn from City how they set up everything for their new incoming manager. We can do this is we keep Hiddink around while building for our new manager.

Let's face it, Hiddink ain't the worst thing and he ain't problematic like Mourinho. So we will not have the same shenanigans as this season.

I don't trust our board to do what's necessary if Hiddink were kept on. Even though City's board knew all along that Pellegeno wasn't their long term manager they still went out and spent millions and millions on top players.

I have a feeling that if we let him stay we'd have a repeat of last summer where we tell him to work with what's already here with maybe make a few bargain bin signings for depth. Plus Hazard would surely go if we did that.

Conte is a decent manager, but if indeed it's between him and Simeone now, then I think I'd be dissapointed if Chelsea gets to appoint him over Cholo. It's not only about managerial skills, it's also about the fact that we need someone to attract top players too and Simeone fits that bill.
