Guardiola to City confirmed.

Vintage stuff really, taking yet another 'easy' job.

It's understandable why he would choose City instead of us. Who would want to work with Emenalo and being told what players to buy?

Yeah it's not ideal, but to be honest Guardiola is rated as one of, if not the best manager in football right now so why wouldn't he choose the best club in England?

He's considered as one of the best managers in the world because of the trophies he's won but people are also smart enough to realize that he's taken two relatively easy jobs in a row. There's no questioning that.

This was the worst kept secret in football.  It was always going to happen.  His buddies are there, City want a manager to take them to the next level, and he likes being at a club with the most amount of on paper talent with the biggest budget.  No surprise.

True, but like i said he's one of the best managers so why would he choose any other club in England over City? Why would he choose us? Or Utd? Or Arsenal? It's been proven our board is incompetent and we enjoy spending money on mediocre players, meanwhile City actually have a competent board with a vision, and spend their money wisely. Can't blame him for choosing them.

Fair play to City for having the ambition to go for the #1 manager in world football and have him accept the offer. No doubts he'll bring new ideas to this league & have immediate impact. City will back him with loads of money and establish themselves as a Champions League contender from now on, head to head with Barcelona, Madrid, Bayern et al. Although for me they are not even in the top 10 biggest brands in world football, all those dodgy sponsorships they've pulled off in the last years helped & will help them go on profit year after year, although they have never been on profit on the transfer market since the Arabs took over, nor seen anyone on the streets wearing a City shirt. Plus the empty seats at the Etihad - not the sign of that big brand they keep talking about.

Meanwhile we are being linked with the likes of Mark Hughes and Ranieri. I think I'll go nuts if next season the board appoints some puppet that has no word on in & outs and keeps playing the same dull football and outdated tactics.

City are on the big stage for five years and an absolute joke in Europe, never got a sniff to a quarter final in Champions League at least. Still they are able to attract the best manager out there, while Chelsea FC a renowned brand in world football, a lot bigger than City, fucks around and can't get him to at least start the negociations because we can't grow a pair and at least once let a manager come in and to the things his way.

Pellegrini to Chelsea written all over this.

A lot don't like it but they are just being biased. He really is a talented manager. Sometime he doesn't know when to stop attacking but that is what a lot of people want, no?
