Thats the problem with a twitter page that only quote what they want, probably only to atract attention. This twitter page is a joke. The actual article talk about Pellegrini situation, and if he indeed leave for Guardiola, then Pellegrini would be reasonable option, since the promotes attacking football and speaks english. Its only the writer opinion about the subject.

Ah you're right. The quote is taken out of context and is made to look objective but it's just an opinion piece. Some peace of mind for the meanwhile at least, although I can't help but feel wary that there is something genuine in these niggling rumours about Pellegrini to Chelsea.

I don't want to see a previous manager back, I want to see a new face, a new outlook and a new style of play. Get the right players, right gaffer and start a fresh please.

Same just seems daft to keep going round in circles..

Lmao. We're even in a more shit position than I thought.

If Pep goes to City, we can forget about winning the premier League then. Because no one we can bring in can beat Pep to a league title. He's the best flat track bully in the history of the game.

i have serious doubts, as to whether his style will work in england.

bet simeone could beat him to some titles.

I would love to see Guardiola as the manager, but it seems he is going to City. Despite the manager, the club must buy big in the summer. Coaching is only a secondary role if you got the right players. For me Chelsea's top performances came under interim managers: 3-2 against Liverpool in 08 UCL semi-final, 3-1 against Liverpool in 1st leg in 09 UCL quarters, and tha infamous 1-1 against Barcelona. Chelsea was the strongest side for the whole game, and it wasn't a case of parking the bus the whole game. Its really depessing to imagine that game was decided by poor refereeing decisions, but when we just remember those teams, specially the 09 one, with a mid trio of Essien-Ballack-Lampard and Malouda-Drogba-Anelka in the front.

#Chelsea goes by the signing of Jorge Sampaoli for the 2016-17 season and negotiations have already begun.

Porto and Chelsea, possible destinations for Sampaoli http://www.

Dont know heow legit fff

I would like him. My only concern is whether he can manage club football. And if his 3 centerbacks system will work in the EPL

In Chile they say Sampaoli will be a free agent starting tomorrow and he admited today that he sees EPL as his next destination.

We should be all over this, Sampaoli is a genius, probably the closest thing to Guardiola right now (together with Paco Jemez IMHO).

If Chelsea is in for a change than the best thing to look into is somebody like Sampaoli (assuming Guardiola is off the market)- he's not unidimensional, likes to challenge his players, favours attacking football (obsessed with it should I say), likes to rotate a lot, he's flexible with his tactics.

Hopefully this turns into something more than just a rumour.

We need someone who is highly experienced in Europe and has managed (at a high level) in a top league. Someone who will immedietly command our star players' respect and someone who can attract top recruits.

The Chelsea job is too big for Sampaoli I think. He's the kind of manager that needs to take over at all club first and earn his way to a big club like us. Could see him getting sacked in a single season here.

Pep, Simeone Mourinho and such was never big shots when they started.

We need to gamble. And Sampoli sounds like an interesting gamble.
