I don't rate Chalobah and don't trust Silva in 4 atb. We saw million times 2 right footed CBs playing together. Pretty much all best pairings in history. Why not 2 left footed now? Surely Colwill or Badiashile can play RCB. I don't see a problem.

Badisahile has played RCB several times at Monaco.

Still not sure what else Chalobah needs to do to earn the trust of the remaining fanbase. He's a valuable squad option that can play across the back 4.

Out for the season. Again.

£75m spent on a broken player, good business!

I warned!

If little amateur me can clearly see these things I REALLY have to wonder WTF is going on

although this buy was before we had a fully assembled management team

And! what about this for piss taking...

Chelsea are considering making a move for 30-year-old Manchester United and England centre-back Harry Maguire, with the Blues' France defender Wesley Fofana, 22, facing a lengthy spell on the sidelines having had surgery on an anterior cruciate ligament injury. (90 Min)

You answered your own question, Chalobah is at best a good HG squad option to have, nothing more.

If Chalobah was starting quality, I doubt the club would have gone out and spent big money on the likes of Koulibaly, Badiashile, Fofana in recent windows.

If you are an opposition striker and you see Chalobah as the starting CB in a back 4 system, you'd be licking your lips at the opportunity to score a few goals.

Funny thing is, this wouldn't surprise me at all.  United would give anything to get him off the books and we are definitely a CB short heading into the season with Fofana's injury woes.

Yes mate I agree...

But it's not Manure wanting to get rid of him, it's us even thinking about buying him, if true.

Still not sold on him. Yes he has had a few big injuries but even when he’s played, not sure he’s what we need in the long run. With Silva undoubtedly leaving come the summer and the club wanting to recruit another CB by all accounts the next half a season are make or break for him here I think.

He is obviously perma wrecked. Never should have signed him after his Leicester injury. Even if he comes back the decent player we knew at Leicester the 2 years he lost to develop mean he will never be elite.  Only good thing is we probably already recouped a good bit of the massive transfer outlay from insurance.
