these could be had for less than 40m quid a pop, some far less

we need winger depth, especially for next year when Puli and Ziyech will be gone for international duty

Hirving Lozano

Gabriel Veron (I think he was one of the 'young South American players' that we were supposedly going to buy in summer 2021)

Leon Bailey

Silas Wamangituka (has scored a brace in back to back games, including destroying Dortmund) 21yo, 1.89m, strong as a bull, super pacey, huge upside

Ousmane Dembélé (Barca is saying 40m euros takes him)

Moussa Diaby

Jesús Corona (name discount?)

Ismaïla Sarr (as long as Watford do not get promoted)

Riccardo Orsolini

Jens Petter Hauge (7 goals, 3 assists for AC Milan, in only 639 minutes)

Samu Chukwueze

Jérémy Doku

Dembele is the 2nd best available winger after Sancho, not sure if he is willing to come here as a sub.

he is a sub now

and he could, if he reaches his potential, bench Pulisic, especially if Puli is going to be perma injured

that all said, the ones in bold are more to my liking, especially Lozano (huge marketing boost too, he is a massively popular Mexican national)

If he can sort his injury problems like Robben then the answer is yes.

You might as well say the same about Pulisic too.

And don't think Robben ever sorted his injury problems. He usually played a few games, got injured, returned and played a few games and then got injured again. Rinse and repeat.

If we are going to buy a winger, I'd rather we just get someone who has a clean injury record, or close to one at the very least.

The problem with Lozano is ADL won't let him go for a mere €40m lol.

no, Napoli is FUCKED financially atm

they have to sell players

that is why he is on the list at all

Is Lozano really a good option though? Has only scored 11 goals and provided 3 assists in 49 appearances for Napoli.

he has been really good this season when I watched him (maybe was somewhat lucky timing as well)

scored 2 braces out of the 4 league games I watched him play so far (against Genoa and Atalanta)

I want to swap Pulisick for Hazard, I think he'd jump at the chance to come back here.

And for us to get rid of sicknote.

This is where we are at now, huh, calling Pulisic names just because of his injuries? Said it before, people keep on talking about it like Pulisic wants to get injured on purpose. I mean sure, we are all frustrated as fans to see someone keeps on getting injured but you can bet that no one is more frustrated about it than the player himself. I don't think Lampard and the club have given up on him yet.

And swap Pulisic for Hazard? Hazard also has been having his own injury problems at Real Madrid and given his age, I'd not take him back at all. Plus, his time at the club here is done, over. People need to move on from this idea of having Hazard back.

I think he was being sarcastic.

Lonzano and Sarr are the ones I would take. Maybe lean towards Sarr as he knows the league and there is a lot of upside with him. Dembele I would skip, very expensive (wages would be crazy even if he does for €40m), injury prone and has a questionable approach to training and diet.

Where does he fall in your CB list

If we are not going to drop huge money on a José Giménez or Marquinhos or de Ligt type, then Walukiewicz is the exact type of younger CB I would love to grab to replace Rudiger immediately and hopefully Thiago in 2 years or so (if Seb works out). A similar CB would be Perr Schuurs of Ajax, whom the bindippers are drooling over. Another would be Ozan Kabak of the collapsing Schalke and another Pool target, then Mohamed Simakan of Strasbourg (20yo, 1.87m, can play RB as well), and finally 2 who are a year or so older, the 21yo's Edmond Tapsoba of Leverkusen, and Evan N'Dicka of Frankfurt.
