I think Gyokeres, Sesko and Osimhen will all underwhelm, but that is just me. I think Osimhen is the best choice of those 3.

Isak is the only real world class CF.

Despite being a major admirer of Osimhen, I don't think any of them are WC. I'm not at all excited about Gyokeres and Sesko, and I don't think they'll achieve the kind of success that would be expected of them.

Gun to my head if I had to choose between Osimhen or Gyokeres I’d probably choose Gyokeres merely because he offers a bit more as an all around footballer. He can create goals himself more easily with his dribbling and explosive, powerful running. Whereas Osimhen is a more classic “big man” #9 who will be lethal with decent service.

I’d be happy with either, though when the other options all look super underwhelming. The real dream striker would of course be Isak but that’s obviously impossible.

Osimhen in the box on the end of the thousand crosses we play instead of Jackson infuriatingly having zero strikers instinct and being nowhere to be seen in the box does sound appealing. This is IMO the ideal setup for us. A main, top class striker and then Jackson or Guiu who can come on later in games and use their super pace and energy against tired legs.

Would really hate to see how well he’d get on at Arse or Liverpool. Especially Arse. He might hit 25+ PL goals quite easily in those teams if he maintains this form. So if it’s not us I hope he goes to some other non-PL team.

I think he's bound to join an EPL club. Probably wants to prove a point after what happened at Brighton.

Yeah, true. And I guess we can’t discount him going to United either when they win the Europa League. Slipped my mind that Amorim was obviously his manager just a few months ago. Gyokeres + Cunha would be one hell of a refresh of their attack.

I actually think Cunha is a great buy. Like you said those two with Bruno would make them very dangerous.

I know people talk about lots of deadwood and what not, but us and a few others are really only a few moves away from proper competing. It doesn't take much.

For as much as we complain, and we have been god awful for a while now, we're right there with Arsenal, City and Newcastle this season. And we think we've been shit. Despite the ups and downs, I do generally believe our trajectory is upwards unlike a lot here. If we sort out the right transfers this season we could be very dangerous next season.

Chelsea’s Leo Castledine expecting to leave club permanently this summer

Chelsea Under-21 midfielder Leo Castledine is expected to leave the club on a permanent transfer this summer.nCastledine, who impressed on loan at League One side Shrewsbury Town this season before a back injury ended his campaign prematurely in February, is ready to join a new side on a permanent basis in a bid to get regular first-team football.

The highly-rated England Under-19 international still has one year left on his current deal with the option for another 12 months. But with Chelsea having many midfielders to choose from, Castledine has decided he would be better off going elsewhere for the sake of his career, even though he still loves being at Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea also value Castledine highly but are prepared to listen to offers, which will include a sell-on clause. Championship and League One clubs are already showing an interest. A loan has not been completely ruled out, but is regarded as unlikely because Castledine is wary of it becoming a regular occurrence. Chelsea would also want the player to sign a new contract before sending him away for another campaign.

The Athletic revealed in February that Castledine had suffered a minor stress fracture in his lower back, but he has already returned to training and will be ready to play a full part in pre-season. Castledine made his senior debut for Chelsea last season as a substitute in their 6-1 win over Middlesbrough at Stamford Bridge in the Carabao Cup semi-final second leg. The 19-year-old played 26 times for Shrewsbury before his injury, including 18 league starts.

Right decision for player and Club.

The Enzo to Real Madrid stuff feels like the usual lazy reporting you’ll always hear with high profile Spanish speaking players when Madrid need someone in a certain position. There’s absolutely zero chance that we sell him this summer and if we ever do it surely won’t be for a penny less than what we paid for him considering how many years he has left on his contract. And it’s highly unlikely RM will pay that.

Benoît Badiashile is one of the main names on the shortlist of Inter Milan.

@Santi_J_FM

Chelsea are among clubs who have approached Aston Villa GK Emiliano Martinez over a possible transfer but no offers have been made yet.

Juventus are working with Victor Osimhen’s entourage and preparing an offer of €80m, through the footballer’s attorney. President De Laurentiis wants €100m but would prefer a sale abroad. Osimhen's preference remains the Premier League who can sign him for €75m. (via@sportmediaset)
