Chelsea are reportedly exploring the possibility of bringing Antonio Rüdiger back to Stamford Bridge in 2026, according to Spanish outlet Fichajes.

Fichajes reports that Real Madrid have no plans to offer Rüdiger a contract extension. Instead, the La Liga leaders are now open to sanctioning his departure, potentially as early as the January transfer window, in order to recover at least a small fee rather than lose him for free.

Chelsea, sensing an opportunity to reunite with one of their former defensive leaders, have already made initial contact with Rüdiger’s representatives regarding a return to London in 2026.

🔵According from Africafoot,

Chelsea has already set its sights on the young Malian star Seydou Dembélé.

The Blues' management was really impressed by the young player's enormous talent, which they had already heard about, and, according to our sources in the Kingdom of Morocco, made an initial offer of €1.6 million to sign him.

i was never a fan of rudiger i always thought hes too crazy, but i would like him here now as a cover for our weakest position and as someone who has a bit of a leadership character it can only help for this young team.

Should never have let go imo.

Spirit, fight, and yes, flawed (who isnt btw ?).

His psychological prescence alone, would be a welcome ingredient in the squad right now.

Checked on him, he is 17 years old, 1.65 tall and playing in Mali. Can't say I'm all on the hype train yet.

Is the source reliable for Real madrid news?

Would be good to have him back in that T.Silva type role

You would be hard pressed to find a worse overall source than Fichajes, even if they are right on this one.

They are horrific rumour-mongers and liars.

Romano pushing their shit has destroyed his credibility IMHO.

Rüdiger doesn’t strike me as the kind of guy who would want to come back to the PL. He has that “I’ve accomplished everything and will go to Saudi for £500k per week” vibe.

I’d love him back and think he’d give our team a big lift just with his personality alone but I just don’t see it happening.

He had pretty much won the European trophies with us and who is going to turn down the opportunity to play for Real Madrid.

If some of our current squad get to that level and start winning big trophies (e.g. UCL or PL title).... Caicedo, Enzo, Estevao immediately come to mind!

Fichajes is even worse than peak shit patrol Don Balón.

I really wish they could be shut down for fraud. Many of their purely invented tales are far worse than this Rüdiger speculation.

Shame, shame on Romano for pushing their dross. 👎👎

It would be madness to sell Neto, understand his limitations but he still brings speed and thrust to the team and he can score  goals given the opportunity. We have so many players that we dont need and they a huge waste of money. Sell them rather thats if some club is willing to buy them

Don't get people's issues with Neto. He is very underrated. He is criticised for his end product but already is on like 3 goals and 2 assists right. He has improved.
