During preliminary Madueke talks, Chelsea enquired about including Max Dowman in a deal, which Arsenal immediately rejected. (@HandofArsenal)

Max Dowman

Date of birth/Age: Dec 31, 2009 (15)

🗣️Declan Rice on Max Dowman (𝟏𝟓) “Max is the best 15-year-old in the country. But I think at 15 there is still such a long way to go. You can be the best in the country at 15, but it doesn’t necessarily mean at 18 you are going to be" 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

I was talking about if they get Eze first. I don’t know why they’d need both.

Eze is not a true LWer

he is is more of an AMF/No 10

Rodrygo can play either wing, but as a right footer I have always rated him more on the left

BUT

Real have Vini Jr and Mbappe for LW (Mbappe forced to play CF, Rodrygo RW)

I just can’t see Arse spending £68m on Eze to backup Odegaard, £50m on Madueke to backup Saka, and then £80m+ on Rodrygo. All that after the big money to sign Zubimendi and Gyokeres.

If they sign Madueke and Eze there’s surely no way they’re still in for another AM like Rodrygo.

Chelsea did hold talks regarding a move for Kudus, but it is understood a move to Chelsea is unlikely. [@SamiMokbel_BBC]

Without a replacement, it makes little sense to sell Madueke. Would actually keep him and give Estevao time to adapt to English conditions

RW in our team can play Neto, Estevao, Palmer.

AM can play Estevao, Palmer and Joao Pedro even Enzo.

Kudus also playing AM and RW. Don't understand Kudus links and we certainly don't need Madueke replacement. We are fully stocked.

If Noni stays - you're expecting Estevao to be third choice behind him and Neto? Then you also have Cole who is starting to play there again.

Doesn't make sense. We need a LW and to get rid of Noni.

Based on the Champions League registration, we need to make 60 million in sales.  Guessing Madueke/Petrovic/Carney/maybe KDH sales would help reach that figure.

Madueke alone will fetch 40/50M, then KDH at least 20M, Petrovic 15/20M then you have people like Sterling and Chilwell also still at the club

Raising that amount won't be an issue, the deadwood we have sat around can settle that figure easy

they would have to be insane if they could do (for sure) EITHER Rodrygo or Noni but not both and they chose Noni

madness

same for us with Rodrygo versus most any other winger remotely available, including Kudus and probably even Morgan Rogers

The more I think about it the more I’m of the mind that another specialist LW must be brought in if Madueke goes. If the idea is to depend on Gittens who is only 20 and coming into a new, much tougher league + Tyrique George who isn’t ready yet either then we could be in trouble in that area if the former struggles to adapt.

Not a Kudus type who can play anywhere but isn’t natural in a specific position. But a natural LW who you can swap interchangeably with Gittens. George can go out on loan and play every week.

AC Milan manager Allegri also confirms Mike Maignan-Chelsea deal now completely OFF: “I’m very happy he decided to stay”.

“Mike remains the captain and is one of the best goalkeepers in Europe”.

😴😴😴

I hope Chelsea come again.

I can't stand another season with Ben Roberts and Rob Sanchez as No.1!!!

From a sporting perspective, having him available makes sense if he actually wants to stay and compete for 1 more year. He's a classic bench player for a top team which is only a good thing - rather have him than not have him, if he was actually up for it and to play in the way the manager wants him to. But probably he's not, or we wouldn't be in this situation (and he would already have improved more than he has).

But we live in a world where our club almost exclusively makes its money (special circumstances excluded like CWC) from player sales, and he is one of the few players we've got that we can sell for profit and actually not be that bothered if he goes.

We can also (and maybe will) sell other options like Andrey Santos, Chalobah, Colwill etc. Could make good money on any of them (relative to what they cost which was either little or literally nothing). I'd rather keep Andrey and lose Noni.
