my huge doubt is about madueke

I hope Chelsea offload sancho and mudryk, but about noni I have several doubts

We will have neto, estevao, palmer and probably madueke.

I like him but I think he is not good enough for long term and if we receive a good offer I think we need to take him and buy another player for his position

departures: nkunku, felix, disasi, badi, fofana, mudryk, sancho and KDH

finally, what will happen with veiga?

a sales simulation with euros:

nkunku - 40M

felix - 25M

Disasi - 10M

Badi - 10M

Fofana - 25M

Mudryk - 25M

KDH - 15M

At least 150M euros that we may receive this summer

We will have a lot of money to spend. Lets hope that board do it smartly

I don’t think anyone is taking Mudryk or Fofana after they’ve gone months without playing. We’re almost certainly stuck with both.

Cunha signed for Man U last night.

Yeah sorry I was just throwing out a couple of random names - what I meant was sign some PL worthy forward / goal scorer asap so we have someone for the CWC, any of the names that are available and ready to move on the spot. Just because at this point I think its reasonable to consider that maybe we need 2 forwards and not 1, with NJ going either out of the squad entirely or being relegated to squad fodder with a lot to prove to get a place back (perhaps on the wing).

I am assuming it will take time to negotiate a deal for an elite forward but we need to add goals to the squad asap really in any form otherwise CWC could be pretty grim and it is a huge prize pool available there

Yes, you never know with players from Portuguese league and there is a question mark how he would handle PL but two very promising signs for me are:

1) his body and physics. I know how much determination is needed to build those muscles and this shows his personality. Much more likely person with that mindset to succeed than someone overweight like Lukaku or toxic personality like Osimhen etc...

2) his national team games. Last year or two he is outscoring Isak who is arguably best PL striker. Isak 7 goals in last 18 games for Sweden. Gyokeres 13 in last 15. Also 6 in 8 for Sporting in CL.

Honestly we should do everything in our power to get him.

Yes, I'd be onboard with an attempt to sign Gyokeres but would he be more interested in Arsenal, for example?

I could maybe understand it from our club’s perspective if Osimhen and Gyokeres were like 29 years old and they were concerned about them falling off after 3 years or something. But these guys are both just 25/26! They may not have even peaked yet and are each available for LESS than the £80m+ that Frankfurt are seeking for Ekitike!

Buying Osimhen or Gyokeres would be like when we bought Kante/Fabregas/Caicedo/Diego Costa. Players you just knew with certainty before they even touched the pitch that they’d work out perfectly. Why would we instead go for a striker that is such a risk? It’s just nonsensical to me.

Maybe I am just wrong, but for the same money spent, there seems to be much better options available? Maybe our sporting directors canned speech about the project only works on players that have not reached the top level?

Hmm. Just wish that claimed price tag would be lower. Would love for him to be part of the squad.

That being said, this club admin seems to prioritize lower wage fees over lower transfer fees.

So who knows how they prioritize a prospect like him over some one more established (but still a gamble) like Oshimen., that is very likely to command much higher wages.

Saw some comparisons of Ekitike to Havertz and I do actually see it. He looks more polished from a technical POV though and actually has some power in his shooting unlike Kai.

I’m just trying to imagine Ekitike in a Chelsea shirt and wondering how big, physical CB’s across the PL would feel about playing against him. Can’t help but feel they’d fancy seeing a stick skinny kid up front for us. For example, going up against teams like Everton or Brentford who have CB’s who just want to bully you and beat the hell out of you for 90 minutes. Is he up for that?

Whereas with Osimhen and Gyokeres, they’re the ones who do the bullying.
