Thor 2,719
I've heard great things about the pressing and work rate of both Alvarez and Olise, so it'd be great to get someone like that in. Jackson is a hard worker pressing. Cole does his bit, Nkunku does his bit. Another absolute terror up front would be good.

Magic Lamps 11,692
I am honestly not too worried about Olise, sesko, Alvarez or any of the goalkeepers we have been linked with. They all have reasonable reputation, injury record and somewhat adequate price ranges. What I don’t want is dropping another 100m on some hype boy with dodgy knees or just one decent season. Also the links to meh players like Dobvyk, Calvert Lewin and Upamecano would get me wondering if our board have actually learned anything if there were any substance to it. Shame things didn’t quite go smoothly for Broja here, there is a decent player in there just doubtful he’s ever going to be the level we need. Plus, still properly needs to play every week to develop and gain form/momentum. Dyche may get a tune out of him in all fairness. Still remember the our own Haaland shouts after he scored 7 goals or something for Southampton 🤣 Should have went on loan again following that. Once upon a time this would have been a crimson red flag. Now however; well we're not in Kansas anymore. Some of Lima's footwork reminds me of Clodoaldo's contribution to the CarlosAlberto goal in the 1970 world Cup final. Do I remember correctly that.Maresca likes to invert his left back, not his right back? This Lima kid looks a perfect the candidate to be inverted. Pizy 18,952
Getting £30m for Broja would be insane. You do that before Everton wake up from their drunken stupor. Mhsc
Magic Lamps 11,692
Bayern are apparently going for palinha again. Will be interesting how much they end up paying and if there is a no-PL discount for them. He would have been perfect over caicedo/Latvia last summer but now there is no real point for us anymore OneMoSalah

I think Bayern were going to pay a premium last summer as Fulham wouldn’t have had time to replace him as it was late in the window. But yeah he was ready made, good to go instead of so ending the £80 odd million on Lavia & Ugochuwku. Him and Caicedo would of been brilliant options and could play in tandem also with Gallagher/Enzo playing more free. I have read rumours about him everywhere but would not even get excited .he would be an absolute shoe in with his playing style, straight upgrade on Sterling/mudryk for the left side + could easily establish himself as a leader with his attitude and workrate. Absolutely love to have players like this who play with intensity&passion plus have the technique to back it up. But these kind of transfers were always super uncommon for us, even under Roman. There have been many classy Italian players that would have fitted us well over the past 20 years. But from the top of my head, I only remember Jorginho, zappcosta and Emerson actually joining us during that time. many tend to stay in Italy and of those who don’t they usually prefer sunnier destinations over England. Ironically Newcastle, which is maybe the place that must look most hostile to an Italian, are among the favourites to sign him. If he does end up there I will absolutely pissed with out board cos it would mean they were willing&able to prise some little known 26 yo CB away from them but not a quality, proven international household name.
