Partey cant be depended on fitness wise all season though - which is the same argument here for us letting Kante walk out on a free. Plus there isn’t a huge gap between him and Rice, in fact I would say there really isn’t much of a gap if at all.

Partey maybe better technically but isn’t much else where he stands out as a better player, Rice more mobile and physically not much in it. I genuinely see Rice taking Xhaka’s place though not Parteys.

Hope this is the unquestionably good attacking signing we've been waiting for. It's been years since an attacker joined the club and was good, consistent.

We need the attacking front 3 to be in sync - and getting good quality balls into them. Hopefully with Mudryk, Nkunku and Maduake running at people, and Enzo slotting balls in, we will be able to put balls in the back of the net. Add Jackson into the mix, and surely between the lot of these players they can link up very nicely.

Nkunku is an incredible, forward thinking signing. It was a big risk at the time back in December or whenever it was to spend big money on a player who was injured. But after that season he just had, he’d be worth £85-90m if we didn’t already buy him and every big club in Europe would’ve been battling for him. We likely wouldn’t stand a chance after finishing 12th.

His skill set is perfect for the PL. Can’t wait to see him under Poch.
