the better club for clear reason is city

if we avoid city, all clubs are around the same prestigious

we won a ucl 2 years ago

united only won one carabao cup in the last 6 years for exemple

even arsenal only this season qualified for ucl after 6 years failing top4

liverpool will play in europa league that is a shit anyway and don't won any major trophy since 2020

A number of players are shortsighted and might even see Arsenal above us based on this season alone.

United were able to entice players in the past to join them by offering massive wages, so I hope we don't follow suit.

yes I understand that but I think most of clubs are the same boat except city for logical reasons

if we stay without europe and specially top4 in the next 2/3 years its much more problematic for us

but well newcastle get top4 this season and has been a weak club in the last several years and manage to get great players without european football to challenge for top4

gabriel jesus, zinchenko, casemiro were to clubs without champions league

one season without european football its ok but welll 2 or 3 years its a bit more hard to us

besides this reasons we have a good team. need 3/4 players to fix some areas of our squad but with a proper coach, a proper clinical health team and a proper PRE SEASON I think we can expect good things next season

we need really to avoid injuries. depends a lot of that

I didn't mention the lack of European football going forward, as I'm hoping this will be an exception similar to Mou's last campaign. If we don't qualify for the top 4, at the very least, we'll be in serious trouble on a few fronts.

we will become and be a lost club in the premierleague

we need to be smart in transfer market

I can't think of the last time we were tbh. Kante had a buy out clause & Silva fell into our hands at the perfect time.

I do think a manager can make a big difference in some player's decisions on moving clubs.

The lure of Man City is very much down to Pep in my opinion, and I think City know it too.

Without question. Mourinho still had it when he originally joined Roma, and his recent successes has only strengthened that.

A City win in Istanbul could change that.

Something massive must have happened behind the scenes during contract negotiations for him to want to go. Probably what he would feel was disrespectful. He was probably asking for crazy money like Saka just got from Arse (300K per week) to be amongst the highest paid in the league and we rightly said no after the stinker last 18 months he’s had.

It’s going to be weird as fuck seeing what everyone considered Mr. Chelsea for the past 3-4 years in the shirt of a direct rival. United would be a pretty weird move for him, though. Liverpool made a ton of sense. Bruno is like their main creative spark and one of the first names on the team sheet. And they have Eriksen as well. So he’s going to go to a team with just as much competition for a place as he has here?

Being Klopp’s new Milner-like workhorse makes more sense.

He's joining United clearly for money reasons. No way Liverpool or Arsenal pay what he wants despite them being way better moves for him.

Still there will be Chelsea fans slating the club.

Money.

I think his mentality towards this is quite public, so see zero surprise here. His demands was elite, his performance not quite. And surely this way of being is not quite what TB sees as super suitable for his "project".

Fun thing about the "mr Chelsea" is that it's his fanbase that made this name. People saw super Chelsea mentality in him, new captain, new Lampard and new Terry, but had he ever seen himself this way, I'm not quite sure.

His PR team have done all they could these past 8 months to paint the picture that its the club's fault when now as things are coming into light the reality is Mount is just going for that fat last paycheck.

By all means I respect him for doing that, but this notion that he is Proper Chels or anything reminiscent of our old guard is now completely out the door and his PR team can't save that now.
