Then let's hope we address the midfield, clearly anything can happen this window.

Yeah let me rephrase that..

Im kind of excited watching us building a new team. But i would have prefered if they started with our biggest issues first.

How are we gonna afford more signings?

I read some where, I dunno if this is true, but because Roman paid of the 1.5b debt, we could spend 500m for 3 seasons in a row and not fall under FFP, like I say I don't no how true that is.

Sounds like bollocks but who knows.

Also, 7 years contracts helps alot with the amortization.

Like Mudryk will be around 10-15m/year

Selling all 4 of those probably won't even finance this deal alone. At least not looking at the fees

Auba 0

Puli 30

Havertz 30

Ziyech 10

Must be possible

Bayern will give us 70m at least for Havertz easily.

Probably an unpopular opinion here but at this moment I think our attack (wingers & strikers) is a far bigger problem than any other area in the team. I don't see how a top midfielder fixes our forwards (bar Felix) not being able to shoot, pass, dribble, hold on to the ball for 2 seconds without losing it. At the moment its just been a constant cycle of getting the ball and either losing possession or passing it backwards, absolutely dire. We've been longing for an injection of pace and magic on the wings since Hazard left.

Also spending £62m initially on Mudryk is not the same as just going for Enzo as they want £105m upfront, massive difference.

Then the question, is Mudryk can hold on the ball well enough? Is he have decent decision making?

Because if he only speed merchant, he will have hard times here in the PL

By no means an expert on the player as I've only seen him play in the CL this season, but he was really impressive. Said this a few weeks ago on here:

Posted January 3

When I've seen him in the CL this season, electric dribbler with pretty decent end product. But the thing that most impressed me was that he dribbles at pace with his head up at all times, which is quite rare for tricky wingers. Allows him to always be aware of his surroundings and pick good passes while on the run.

@Vesper do you know if it's true, bevause Roman got rid of the 1.5b debt it's classed as profit, so even if we spend 500m 3 seasons in a row we won't go over FFP?

Dr Rob Wilson, a football finance specialist from Sheffield Hallam University, said: ‘In layman’s terms, Chelsea’s £4.25bn sale price could essentially wipe out the debt and losses the club has accumulated over the past 20-odd years, Chelsea said. Then starts on zero basis under the terms of FFP.

                 Nkunku

Mudryk      Felix     Madueke

That does not look too shabby tbf. Too bad we didn't have any money left for a bloody midfielder or two, whoops

Nkunku will join us one day after Felix leaves so this is never gonna happen

also will we sign Madueke AND Mudryk?

If Felix play every game like 60 mins the other day we should definitely sign him. Around 80m probably.
