The Richarlison rumours this morning, to me, feel more like keeping lines of enquiries open whilst we're still doing business.

Not necessarily saying I'm a fan of it because I'd rather we just target our main targets and not settle for lesser options, but a lot of reports suggest we've opened enquiries over multiple players this summer and are trying to keep options open and available. There might be a concern losing out on both Raphinha and Dembele, and until someone is in the door we maybe want to know how far along deals are.

Personally I'd rather deals like that just bypass us. It seems we've held an interest in Richarlison but he hasn't been a top target like Sterling for example seems to be. Ultimately it's a lot of money for Spurs to spend on someone who in my opinion is nothing more than a backup and rotational player for them. They've been begging for a legitimate backup to Kane for years and I suppose this gives them that but he doesn't get in their strongest XI over Son, Kane and Kulasevski.

What do we do if we miss out on Dembele and Raphinha? Assuming Sterling is nailed on for the left wing. Tuchel clearly wants a right sided winger as well. So who is left out there?

Mount on the left and Sterling on the right.

Instant cash injection.

Out of curiosity what is Barca's annual TV rights?

This deal is for 25 years so in a break even position places the 10% rights at around £10m a season. If Barca's TV rights are £15 - 20m a season this seems like an awful and desperate decision. Even more so over such a lengthy period where these rights could easily be multiple times bigger by the end of the deal.

Antony has the look of colossal bust written all over him for me. All that showboating and unnecessary tricks and flicks work for him in a shit league where he’s on the best team but I can’t see him getting away with all that in the PL. Ajax apparently want silly money for him as well and we saw firsthand what a dominant wide attacker from Ajax looks like in England.

Gnabry would be amazing opposite Sterling but all rumors of him leaving Bayern dried up. And if they lose Lewa they aren’t going to want to lose him as well.

Not really, Bayern will sell Gnabry if he doesn't extend.

It puts €200M in their hands, but they need a lot of it to register players they have already purchased.

Some reports seem to suggest this was necessary just to balance the books for this financial year and allow them to register Kessie and Christensen.

If they want to trade at any respectable rate apparently they need two more of these economic levers to take place and they're not likely to simply go through over night.

The result of what happens with Raphinha will determine where Barca are likely standing in all of this.

I also cannot see them prioritising him over Lewa, even more so if they can still come to an agreement with Dembele on a new contract.

People crack me up on here. Do people actually believe that Barca the team that are;

A) €1.5bn in debt

B ) cannot even register their free signings

C) selling off their future revenues to keep the lights on

D ) selling a top young talent in FDJ in order to create some La Liga wage cap space

Are all of a sudden going to buy Raphinha for €70m plus big wages? Some people are way too taken in by people that talk absolute BS on the Internet.

Think your going to be surprised. There is a reason now bookies have him as favourites to join Barca ahead of us.
