Chelsea Transfers

City are signing the age profile of player we should be but actually have serious people in charge.

Similarly to us who are also linked with a new attacker and new CB, they’ll get 25/26 year old Semenyo and 25/26 year old Guehi whilst we’ll probably go and get some 19 year old CB from France who is a complete gamble. After we’ve already got 2 promising teenaged CB out on loan + one currently playing in Acheampong.

️🗯Decision made: We’ve been told Manchester City are set to submit an official bid for Marc Guehi.

The offer is expected to be formally lodged with Crystal Palace soon and is worth around £30 million.

Personal terms are not an issue between Guehi/ManCity.

An agreement between the clubs is not expected to be an issue.

The move could now progress quickly, provided Guehi agrees to the transfer.

They’re a team who are serious about winning not only in the future but also right now.

Whereas our club hierarchy with their signings and managerial appointments continuously say “just trust us, everyone, we’ll be a great team 5 years from now.” And in the meantime we are wildly inconsistent and nowhere near competitive at the top of the league.

What these jokers don’t seem to grasp is that while they sign 50 teenagers and young players it severely risks UCL qualification that we desperately need whilst they learn on the job.

You would think they’d be looking at our current situation and thinking “oh, shit…we’re at serious risk of missing out on UCL revenue for next season. We need to go out and get some experienced, ready made quality to see us over the line the rest of the way.” But nah, instead we’re linked with yet more unproven kids that could be great 5 years from now.

30M for Marc Guehi and we aren't even in the picture, just fucking wow

Could be the difference for City in really piling the pressure on Arsenal for the title too. They stop shipping goals and they’ve got enough fire power to claw back that gap IMO.

£30m…. madness.

We are never going to be a top team without the addition of top experienced players to bridge the gap. Been banging on about it since the first summer these went berserk for young players only after losing players like Rudiger, Jorginho, Kovacic, Azpilicueta, Thiago Silva etc all in a relatively short period.

Finally people seeing it though and not just believing that because they’ve spent money on 50+ young players, that they are actually wanting to be successful sporting wise. It is clearly a business model & the goal is to be very successful on that side of it in the relatively short to medium term. Don’t know how it’s taken so many so long as well, genuinely baffling. If they were serious they would’ve actually tried to compete for the likes of Donnarumma, Guehi & Semenyo. May not have gotten them but actually tried to at least make a compelling argument and show they aren’t just in for making a profit.

BlueCo out 👍

We think the club is run poorly now but this is how we’re operating WITH the huge revenue boost from the CWC & UCL football.

What are things going to be like without those things? And STILL with no main shirt sponsor FOUR YEARS into this new ownership. Or any plan whatsoever for the stadium situation.

Meanwhile, Todd Boehly’s Los Angeles Dodgers over here in America are going absolutely crazy buying ready made superstar after ready made superstar and creating a dynastic juggernaut. They’re a well oiled machine from top to bottom which again reinforces that it’s Eghbali who is running this club into the ground here and not Boehly.

🔵Bayern Munich have joined the likes of Chelsea, Man United, Arsenal, Real Madrid and Liverpool in the race to sign Jérémy Jacquet. Rennes want a similar fee to that for Jérémy Doku when he joined Man City (£57m).

Fee 20M

Fucking madness

£200k-£250k per week salary they'll pay a guy that will not start for them when everyone is fit. Would 100% make our XI and in fact would be nailed there for years and be our best CB without a doubt, such is the gap in quality we have there.

City even with 115 charges simply do not fuck around in the slightest.

They aren't buying Guehi to bench him, he starts even when Diaz and Gvardiol are fit, I rate him as good as if not better than both

Killer signing, cheap, top class defender and another signing that will smash it

Ehh, maybe. Diaz is their general on the pitch and Pep absoutely loves Gvardiol. I guess maybe he could move Gvardiol permanently to LB. But I don’t even think it matters since Pep rotates so much anyways so he’d keep everyone happy.

Well, fair I guess.. We took their kid Tosin, they got our kid Guehi..

I just checked on Anselmino as Maresca who didn't like him is gone and he was highly rated by BVB-fans. I was not too surprised to read he is injured again, he has played total of 5 league games..
