disagree............

we do have a few postions to go (GK, LW, LB/LCB combo, and a RCB) , but I think we have been on point to a large degree

The top clubs have significantly improved their teams, our recruitments on the other hand are not really that great. Let's be honest.

Rivals are spending but there’s no player other than Wirtz who’s in the unmissable signing category.

Our attack is Pedro Delap and Jackson as opposed to Nkunku and Jackson last year. Seems like a significant jump up to me

So, if Nkunku, Jackson and Guiu (loan) are to left, our attacking options will be:

ST: J Pedro, Delap

LW: Gittens, Simons,

RW: Neto, Estevao, George

AM: Palmer, KDH, Enzo

So, counting Enzo as half, we have 9.5 players for 4 positions. Seems reasonable as KDH and George won't see much playing time.

KDH probably will be gone too

So 8.5 for 4 positions, I am not sure how much George will be trusted, and also how much will Enzo play AM (depending on Lavia health, and Santos/Essugo development).

Santos as well as an AM, he looks great going forward

George will probably go on loan.

I'd rather keep Chalobah than waste money on Guehi.

Same. Guehi is not a CB that takes us up a level which I’ve said in this thread before when we were linked with him months ago. He and Trev are at the same level so why bother selling the one who’s already here and spending big on one who isn’t better?

As I said yesterday, I don’t think the club is thinking about an out and out CB this window. We have Trev, Tosin, and Fofana to rotate at RCB and we have Colwill and Badiashile at LCB. Hopefully Hato is brought in who can fill in on the left in emergency situations. Three options for each spot is enough.

Next summer is when we can go big focusing on CB if needed depending on how the season goes.

Chelsea are closing n on a deal to sign Jesse Derry from Crystal Palace's academy.

It's understood Derry was set to join Bayern Munich amidst interest from other Champions League clubs, but he the Blues swooped it n late last week and are now set to sign the England Under-19 international.

Plettenberg saying Simons is getting closer, verbal agreement is close. Leipzig want Carney, we want Simons it's all on

Holy ideal scenario.

55 mil for Simons and about 30 mil coming back for Carney? That seems fair.
