Think the plan is to hope Sanchez is solid for this season and also hope Penders replicates Peteović at Strasbourg. Unbelieveble. Crazy this rumor is flaring up again. I remember being very lukewarm and skeptical when we first brought him back from Palace. But he has been excellent for the most part and clearly loves playing here. Only scenario I can think of making sense is if we are near the deadline and still haven’t been able to to shift Nkunku/Jackson/deadwood and we’d have Trev as an emergency option to cash in on. No chance should we just sell him based on anything else. Especially not because of Fofana who may miss 90% of the season as he always seems to.
