A leader, very well liked and respected by his teammates, very solid almost every time he’s on the pitch, and importantly isn’t someone who is going to make a fuss if he doesn’t start every match. He’s the picture perfect squad player for a club like this. All these mentions of Wes Fofana in some of these stories is strange to me. There should be ZERO planning of the squad or team around him. His knees are a ticking time bomb that are likely to blow up at any moment he’s on the pitch.
