I think Jackson will actually fit very well at Newcastle. Don't believe a deal is possible due to his preferences and the transfer fee.

The transfer fee wouldn't be a problem, they were happy to offer 80 million for that young french striker

Probably strike out on Wissa next as well. Surely United will be forced to pull their finger out and finally push through Mbeumo. Because I can’t imagine Brentford selling both. They’ll risk their PL status if they lose the 35-40 goals they score between them + their manager.

Aw man, United finally getting their ass off the couch and paying up for Mbeumo now. Was really hoping the Newcastle move for Wissa moved quickly and kept United in the mud missing out on Mbeumo.

Looks like it scared them into action instead.

Newcastle fans must be raging. Fight for UCL football, achieve it on the final day of the season, desperate to establish themselves amongst the big boys. They’ve now missed out on 3 striker targets in the span of a couple of weeks.

And if I remember correctly they wanted Mbeumo themselves before he turned them down for United.
