after Murillo and Huijsen

We should just get both and spend the cash at this point. Bring back Petrovic for GK or go and spend the money on a decent option there too.

I am increasingly a big believer in just spending the premium to buy established PL players, and only rarely spending big cash on players otherwise. At this point, we are simply out of time, the club is out of excuses, and they need to put together an XI that can put on a respectable showing against any team in the world - at minimum one that can battle and conceivably take us to pens in a final against the truly elite teams.

These two seem like the most realistic PL targets in that regard. Just offer them good money and get it done. Ship out Colwill and other HG players if needed to cover it. Its just worth it., even if Colwill finally comes good in 3 years for a different club. We need CBs that are ready now.

🚨🔵 Chelsea are closely monitoring the development of Georginio #Rutter and have added him to their shortlist for the next transfer windows. CFC

The 22-y/o versatile forward is currently out with a foot injury but has had a strong season with Brighton, scoring eight goals and providing four assists. One to watch. Contract until 2028.

Scoring 8 goals in like 40 games is considered as strong season?

I checked, he has 5 goals in the PL, not too hard to guess who were the opponents, the shitiest defenses: Chelsea, MU, Spurs, Ipswich, Southampton

He has further 3 in the Carabao Cup, 2 against Champo-side Norwich, one against us, of course.

his 5 EPL goals

all were against the 14th, 15th, 18th, and 20th place sides (those are their standings now, not when he played against them in the case of Spuds and Manure), except for his goal against us, back in September

‼️ Chelsea would be open to sell Renato Veiga in the summer if they receive a €20m offer.

Crazy, we seem to be out of the conversation altogether for the very top targets : Gyokeres, Sesko, Isak

We are predictably fighting for more youngsters Rutter, Delap, won't be surprised if Samu Omorodion is still on their lists. I think the boards needs to break its youngsters-only rule and look at the market for senior players (Ollie Watkins, ) who would be a good pickup at this point and complement the younger legs around him.

Young forward currently out with an injury you say,...

No doubt the blood hounds Stewart, Winstanley and Eghbali are out on the prowl, sniffing.

I see all the sketchy sources about Delap and Man United and add another sketchy source. 😂

Defo sketchy because the article has failed to realise that if United win the Europa League, they will automatically be in the Uefa Champions League and their is no standout team in that competition right now, so United could easily win that. Bilbao are very good but beatable. They still have to get past Rangers. Defo dodgy source.

Delap ? This is our level now ?
This guy is relegation with Ipswich and we expect him to save us with 20+ goals ?

Go and get Osimhen , Diogo Costa  stop get mid players .

I think Delap will develop into a really good number nine. The base to get much better is there, or, I could be wrong.

At what point do we stop becoming a team that's seemingly just here to develop players?

Since this is the path we continue to take, we really can't grumble too much about not vying for major honours. Our board is obviously unaware of a concept known as balance.

As much as they have spent, you think they would have learned by now. We can only wait until they either figure it out, or sell the team.

Yeah Delap is a number 2 striker. We already have Jackson.

Under the old regime, we’d be trying to get a good/top manager in and go for either Isak or Oshimen. Even without CL football. But these cunts in charge are too daft and too cheap. And have hard ons for u23 players who are mainly guys with limited potential or extremely injury prone.

If Maresca is still here next season I’m not going to bother watching us. Not been to the Bridge in a good while either and don’t intend on going whilst BlueCo are on this path. We are so bad it is unreal. On and off the pitch.
