Think our chance has been and gone, and 90% of this forum had a fucking melt down when we were linked.

Yes thankfully he is staying. Duran would be no upgrade.

When we were linked to him everyone in this forum was against this transfer. One decent game, just one winning goal and also must goal misst by duran everone is saying we should buy him. For me duran is not Chelsea level.

Some people in this forum are acting like our club and still complaining. The grass on the other side is NOT always greener. 😉

yup. There was a time we bought them ready to play and win silverware. Nowadays we buy "projects" for the same amount (or more) of money, and have to wait a few years until they learn to play football, or not, it's a wild ride... NOT!

Tbf is has been a bit better than last season, and the team is better overall.
Duran would've been just another project. He looks physical, quick, energetic, and can finish. Is he an elite footballer? nope not even close. Can he become one one day? maybe who the fuck knows?!
BTW, he missed a terrible sitter just before he scored.

I don't think that has ever been said about him.

He lacks certain attributes, which is the reason he's not hot commodity, but he's certainly not a "shit player." He's twice the player Mudryk is for one, which is one of the reasons I was saying the squad wasn't good enough last season. Once you have players like Felix in the squad, that raises the bar--even if I'm not personally a fan of his firefly game.

i think felix will give us more creativity than mudryk, sterling and madueke. but of course in the new system under maresca he also has to work more.

i hope we get felix and osimhen, but then a lot of players have to go.

washington, fofana, broja, lukaku have to go for me. we are good with jackson, osimhen, guiu in attack. especially when nkunku, felix, palmer could also play CF when needed.

we also have enough wingers: sterling, mudryk, palmer, madueke, neto, chukwuemeka, when also jackson and felix can play there.

start the season with: palmer, nkunku, jackson, osimhen, guiu, felix neto, chukwuemeka, madueke or mudryk . BUT for me there are also TOO MANY YOUNG PLAYERS WHO WILL NOT PLAY ENOUGH(GUIU, CHUKWUEMEKA, MADUEKE, MUDRYK).

and get rid of washington, fofana, broja, lukaku, sterling, madueke or mudryk.

Angelo, another one that never worked out, lost property again.

Whilst it sounds like Osimhen is still ongoing watch out for our links with Isak, this could grow legs in the comings days.

After watching them play yesterday, even a man down, we'd have to give them the kitchen sink. He's by far their best player.

Will lol if PSG grab Osimhen, Villa grab Felix, Atleti buy Richard Ríos or Javi Guerra instead of Gallagher, Spuds then lowball us for Gallagher for around 25 to 30m quid, and Villa tells us to piss off with Duran.

Plus we fail to sell or sign any CBs, do not buy a winger, and fail to dump Sterling or Muddy, and also all desperation CF deals fall through when the window is running down.

THAT ALL is the prime 'Bo Clownlake on steroids' scenario.

Ffs

Some football financial/legal bloke named Stefan Borson was just on Swedish telly saying we are fucked with the investigation over Roman's illegalities.

Said its likely we get a multiyear transfer ban, multiyear European ban, massive fine, and possibly, on top of all that, a large points deduction or straight relegation.

Said we will be made an example of, and the fact it was a Russian owner doing the dirty really fucks us atm, as does being owned now by American hedge fund billionaires who are hated by most football power structures.

He said that Citeh will never admit to any wrong doing and will fight any finding for years and have a good chance at getting no punishment at all.

Grrrrrrrrrrrrrr
