That Napoli thing where they are threatening us to take a cheap cut on Lukaku or they will go for Neres is absolute donkey shit.

They are begging for Lukaku and so is Conte, they need shot of Osimhen and the only way for both to happen is via us.

Good luck to Lukaku then, wonder how many goals he'll score for the reserve team this season?

the other poster is simply taking what we paid for players and claiming that is their present value, which is absolutely erroneous in terms of calculating swap value

On the other hand, fact that one doesn't like the player is not making the player worth 0 Euro. Lukaku, Kepa, Sterling or Mudryk are still gold for Serie A (hence all the clubs lick fingers for Lakaka), they just are not to keen to pay for them, so why would we give them away for free, just to take off some overinflated value from another rando who will probably flop in PL and massively boost a club we may meet in Europe one day (hope, lol)? That's no way to do business, club can always give players away for free like it did with Zyiech. Having 250 million worth of assets on books, despite the wages cost, surely makes some financial operations easier too.

Napoli doesn't want any 20 mil player, they are quite pressed into Lukau and want Osimhen out, yet nobody wants him. And we don't really need him, given he has trainwreck written all over him and people are now getting hyped up with Jackson and probably think Osimhen with his wages and ego will be sitting on the bench, patiently waiting for chance in Carobao or not playing will not hinder Jackson's development lol. So if even in this situation we cannot recognize position of power, then good luck. It looks like straight swap for me if we toss Casadei in.

Lukaku can be shipped out for 15 million any moment I guess, but it's not the point to sell 100 million player for 10 million and 3 more free 20+ million players as a bonus.

Not super fussed about the Gallagher/Felix deal, slight squad upgrade shipping out a non technical player who isn't suited to positional play to buy one who is, but has never really delivered on his potential.

While I am optimistic we should be getting top 4 this year, signing a top striker or CB would really help a lot on this:

If Osimhen is not willing to lower his wages (which is fair enough) and we aren't willing to break our wage structure (which is fair on our part also). Then that's that. I think the reason with us not interested in taking him permanently and on high wages is that we don't want it to turn into another Lukaku situation. Look how hard it is to ship him out.

For me, while we do need a quality CF. I feel the need for a quality CB in his prime more urgent, unfortunately we will need to sell Disasi, Badi first and it doesn't seem like it will happen.

Fair enough if he wants to stay at Napoli. He is not really a wanted man, big teams don’t step on each other pursuing him. Same for Felix, neither his current and his previous two teams really want him, but his high wages are always highlighted. They are good players, but we shouldn’t break our back to meet their expected salaries, since nobody else willing to do so. If they want to join us, they can lower their wages, if not, then it’s their mother clubs problem.

Yes agree. Difference is with Felix, according to reports, he is willing to lower his wages to join us, which I think is a positive thing coming from a player.

He’s currently below £100k per week - compared to what we paid him during his loan here we are already saving a lot of money.

Matt Law- Chelsea set for new round of Gallagher/Felix talks and Osimhen on CFC radar

So really nothing new. Just pretty much mirroring what others have said all week.

I will say, if we get a positive result against City and then follow it up next week by brining in Felix and Osimhen, wow. Everyone will be buzzing around the club.

Welcome to Hull City, Mason!

Diego Moreira has joined Strasbourg from Chelsea. €2m fee with a buy-back clause. Moreira has signed a five-year contract.

Big Les (Loan)

Humphreys

Gallagher

Casadei (I would loan)

Carney (Loan)
