Chelsea’s proposed move for Atletico Madrid forward Samu Omorodion has collapsed over issues on the contract terms.
The Athletic previously reported that Chelsea had agreed a £34.5million (€40m) deal with their La Liga counterparts for Omorodion. He was expected to sign a seven-year contract with the option of a further year that would run until 2032.
However the deal has fallen through after the south west London club were unable to finalise personal terms with the 20-year-old.

More on Samu Omorodion deal story.

Understand Chelsea and Atlético are in contact to find solutions as Omorodion deal could collapse.

Both Atléti and Chelsea have clear plan: Gallagher and Julián Álvarez deal can NOT collapse…

…so work in progress on solutions.

So that means they can't afford Alvarez and Gallagher without a significant sale (which was supposed to be Samu).

Yeah, so we're getting Felix now, amazing upgrade compared to that dead meat Shatmu.

Really? Is it possible to fail at medical at Chelsea? We signed all the injury prone players in the world.

Remember how Fofana went to the USA for additional exams and then went out for 18 months… yikes
