Last thing we need is yet another super raw striker player on huge wages that comes in, doesn’t look close to ready, and then we struggle for years to move them on. I actually think Duran is a stud and quite polished - Samu I would steer clear of. On the other hand Duran looks like a bit of a headcase with the way he is treating Villa and the West Ham situation. Many international managers often go for experience over youth. Portugal had Antonia Silva as 3rd/4th choice CB behind 41 year old Pepe. Maguire if fit would have started ahead of Guehi and gets in ahead of likes of Tomori. Weghorst is in front of the pecking order for Holland over Zirzkee who has been courted by big teams and recently signed by United, as well and Brobbey who has been linked with Arsenal. Cucu had a brilliant tournament, however Grimaldo who was sensational was behind him despite being the best LB/LWB in Europe last season. But I hope now that Anselmino is finally sealed he’s the last one for a while. We’re going to create a serious problem for ourselves where we buy so many youngsters that we totally block their pathway.
