You’ll all see. In 2030 when we have all these teenaged wonder kids in the team and win 5 straight PL titles we’ll look back at people slaughtering Clearlake and laughing.

😉

It's going to be a "fun" ride watching all these teenagers learn to play football and become adults one day.

BTW, Estevao just scored a wonder goal against Gremio in the south so away from home -- tying the match too. Commentators are calling him Neymar-like talent as in same skill on the ball.
For the record, I consider Neymar skill on the ball second only to Messi; it's everything else in him that hindered his career, which happens very often with younger players too.

Yeah, I’m seeing the Estevão goal all over Twitter. He and Paez both look insane for their age.

I just pray that they join up into a team that’s coming off of a great season where we’ll have UCL football. Imagine how good the vibes will be with Estevão, Paez, and Anselmino all arriving.

It's a massive issue

it is.
City and Liverpool come to mind.
Quality is tested, and is the most needed, against stronger opposition in decisive moments. We did come short in both moments, and that's a fact. We can hope for something better or do something about it.

I like Kiernan move, and expect another striker/FW in the same mould to drastically improve our changes next season.

Highlight of the match (Estevao goal is the last one):

This was not at Gremio stadium because of the floods which ruined Porto Alegre last month. So, they play in Caxias (smaller stadium) in the Sierras 2h drive from the Porto Alegre.

If we miss on Calafiori take Hincapie. Great player. Completely stopped Argentina. Pacho one to watch also.

Not too worried we missed on Olise and Calafiori. They're not once-in-a-generation kind of players. Plenty of players we can still sign and complete the team.

While Olise would've been the better option given our weaknesses, I think Calafiori could be a one-in-a-generation type. It's evidently hard to say for sure at this point, but he has shown that spark of brilliance in the toughest moment, which only the truly exceptional have.

Mitoma is liked internally at Chelsea.

he has scored THREE GOALS in his last 31 EPL games

and will turn 28 near the end of this coming season

so only 2 full sub 30yo seasons left

if he bombs after 2 or 3 years, he will either be turning 30 or already 30yo and his value for resale will be fuckall

One of my favorite players in all of Europe to watch before that injury. Honestly, he looked pretty decent in the limited minutes I saw of him with Italy this summer? Still looked really quick and dangerous when Italy actually passed him the ball.

As it stands Chelsea are looking for a left footed IV who can also play at LV as there would only be 3 players who can play that and would fit into Chelsea's regime.
Calafiori goes to Arsenal
Hincapie
J.Hato

Unfortunately all these players practically never played as a LV but only as a IV:
Pacho
Inacio
Murillo
Branthwaite
Lukeba
Bastoni (too expensive)
Schlotterbeck (not so great)
Botman (injured)
Buongiorno (goes to Napoli) Hancko (goes to Atletico)
Kilman (goes to West Ham)
