Both he and Fofana have unbelievable talent and could become amongst the very best in the world. Both excellent on the ball, both super quick. Gvardiol is the better passer, Fofana is the more physically dominant.

I’d probably prefer Fofana if I could choose one or the other because he’s significantly taller and because he’s PL ready and will need no settling in period. But I’d be over the moon with either.

Also feel it’s this window or possibly never for both. They each have great seasons and many other big clubs will be after them. We have essentially a free run at them now with Real Madrid, Barca, Bayern, and PSG already bringing in CB’s. United have as well. If we want these guys badly enough we can get them.

I'm feeling much greedier than that and would definitely look for both if available.

It seems Fofana can only happen if he pushes for the move. This makes the reports that he won't do so a big problem.

I suspect Gvardiol is impossible. It's likely to take an outrageously massive figure to tempt RB and the new owners are bound to be somewhat risk averse given the expensive consequences of many bad transfer decisions they are having to deal with. Worse than that, I doubt Gvardiol will accept a move here. I'd love to be wrong about that but I fear I am not.

Neither of these are happening. Leicester would rape us harder than Z did Marcellus Wallace on price and RBL just got Gvardiol to sign a year contract so that they could keep him this year and sell him for a reasonable fee next year (thus he still gets a decent bonus and wage increase.)

I think it would take more like £75m to get Leicester to sell this late in the window and just before the season starts. Around Maguire money basically.

We’ve done lots of business with Leicester in recent years so we know they’re a selling club. Just have to make an offer they’re happy with.

Yup. Its up to the club to put down 70m + Not sure if they'll do it. Preparing myself for Max Kilman on deadline day

De Jong?

I would; just go with KK and Silva at CB, play a back 4. There is enough quality in midfield between Jorginho, Kante, De Jong, Kovacic, Gallagher, and RLC to field 3 CMs at the same time. I think it is a no brainer.
