Well done to Marina, another blinder.

Behave. Nearly 80 million for a RWB that can't really be effective anywhere else. Rather we utilise both CHO against low blocks and James against tougher opposition.

its hard to convince a player to come if he has his mind set on a club

although we did lowball and try to use lower cash + player tactics

BUT

Inter need the 80m euros or so by end of day 30th of June to balance their books for the fiscal year

its not 80m quid

$68.5m (less than what we offered for Alex Sandro 4 years ago)

and Inter's offer atm is only £60m plus possible add-ons

That is still a lot of money for a position that isn't a priority. And my argument still stands, he is utterly ineffective anywhere else and in any other system.

the problem that is Hakimi wants to go to PSG. What can we do?

Lord knows what PSG are offering him and bonuses that are under the table. From what I read they are desperate for an upgrade on Florenzi.

When we sign Haaland for +150m will you still complain that we did not sign wing back for 80m in the same window?

Of course I will be over the moon, but until now they are half right in the fact there are only terrible Haaland sources posted and nothing to even suggest it's close to happening.

it IS a priority if Tuchel is not sold on Reece as a RWB (do you really think we are going to challenge Citeh, Pool, and Manure for the title with Azpi as our primary RWB?)

and it also is the lowest price for a best on planet at a position going, no other position's best is at that level in terms of price

best LWB on the planet is Davies, and offer Bayern £68.5 for him and then watch them laugh in your face

we all had better hope that we can get the Plan B (Traore) at a reasonable price and then that he shocks us and turns into a monster (not impossible)

Were a laughing stock from what I see on redcafe.

That is nonsense and you know it. So last season we got Havertz and Werner when the initial transfer window started, everyone expected the two to arrive at other clubs. Werner to Liverpool looked set in stone. Havertz especially was a major coup. People expected him to go to Bayern or Real and we paid the money, less than what was initially quoted and got our man.

Hakimi would have improved us but let's face it, it is a position PSG need more than us. We already have good options there. PSG don't. Like it says on the quote, he made it clear he wanted PSG. What can we do in that matter and they probably offered more money as they care crying out for a player in that position.

You have made a sublime effort pull up the post from an absolute shit can of site in the RC...

Stop channelling all your energy on what team say about our transfers but go and find out what they say about us winning the CL again.

well, the one thing he has is equal (or more even) pace to Hakimi

and that ultra world class speed is a major key to Hakimi (plus he is just a super talent)

so, perhaps Tuchel can get the best out of Traore

I would NOT put it past Tuchel, he knows exactly what he wants from players in specific positions

I am not going to just give up, and I will give Traore a massive benefit of the doubt if we end up with him

he is capable (look at the season before last) of just DESTROYING teams

Klopp said, when he is on his game, he is utterly unplayable, the hardest player to defend against (given the right system, we which damn well have) he faced all year

like I said, he might shock us all, and let's really bottom line it: Tuchel knows more about football that all of us combined have forgotten

Will see when the transfer market ends where we stand, so far I think she just struck gold with the pandemic last year and was just a one off, she is mostly average to terrible, lets wait and see maybe Hakimi was indeed remotely decided to join Paris but hard to think other factors didn't contribute to this.
