This is turning into an exciting window for Chelsea! A new LB & a CB would make it even more better!

Add Kovacic and Jorginho as well and overall our transfer business over last couple years has been quite excellent.

Theres a reason Klopp (arguably the world's current best manager) really wanted him. He is that good and could play for any top team. 

If Klopp really wanted him; that's to say enough to push for the fee to be met, and to offer Werner significant minutes, then we would be out of the running. We seem to be in with a chance of signing Werner because Klopp does not want him enough.

The players in their prime now grew up seeing Chelsea being nothing but successful with Lampard as the main man through a fair chunk of it.
That (plus the package we can offer) makes us a huge pull to a lot of players, aslong as the big Spanish two aren't after them we have just as much chance as anyone in a race for a player (we can blow Bayern out of the water financially).

Also young players know that they will be given a fair chance

Kinda like the reason why young players like to go to Dormund. 

If we continue doing the same with Lampard next season, I think we will also get that bigger influence.

Our present and future is so exciting. I know there are some doubts with people over Chilwell but I really like him and think he is only going to get better. We buy him and James and Chillwell is set for the near decade. Gilmour, Kovacic both at a good age. Ziyech at a good age then we have Mount, Hudson-Odoi, Pulisic, Werner and Abraham. Boga looks unlikely but say he came you can add him to the equation. A lot of people are going to say Werner went to us because of the money, but looking at it, we have such an exciting project. Young manager who is setting his mark on the game and the potential in the team is crazy. Exciting moments.

Think Hazard and the Zidane effect. As long as we're still relevant and challenging for trophies, that will help Chelsea and Lampard in attracting players.

He's also extremely intelligent and articulate in the media and I can only assume from that he's an excellent people person that players would enjoy being coached by.
