Aye thats it.

Leicester game is actually the perfect example, they were very depleted against a full strength Liverpool but showed that it just takes a lot of grit and that bit of quality in the final third to beat them.

I tend to remember us showing that grit at Anfield with 10 men at the beginning of the season when we had arguably the toughest start of the any top 6 side.

That's the thing we've lost that grit recently. Know had stupid amounts of injuries but performance wise usually after scoring it falls apart and end up chasing after the other team even though looker in control.

Be amazing to get something from this and no reason we can't. Depends how we approach it and who turns up

whats happening with werner?

He had COVID IIRC and Tuchel said he was struggling despite returning to training. Plus not like we can really count on him.

We have had a lot of games, a lot of injuries/covid/changes.

Today’s team looks a lot more familiar to close to being our best bar James & Chilly really. And possibly Jorgi but he needs a rest.

We can definitely get something as long as we show up, I really don’t think that Liverpool side barring their front 3 are that much better than us. They’re missing Robertson, Matip, Alisson and Thiago in there.

Apart from Pulisic in over Callum probably the team I'd have picked. Infact it could pass off as our best outside of the wingbacks.

I give Pulisic a chance. When we play in counterattack, he is comfortable. He love these games

Come on Captain America!!!

And not fluff up chances. Which is something been good at recently.

Seems ages since we beat them at the Bridge league wise..May 2018. Lovely. Been a while then

Which is scarier, Azpi vs Mané or Alonso vs Salah? If those two are really at it today this could get very ugly.

Honestly finding it really difficult to pick out an area of the pitch that I’m optimistic about. Silva is just back from a hamstring and is up against that ridiculously quick front 3. Kova is still rusty as hell after his long injury. Kante has been in and out with injuries. Kai hasn’t played in weeks and Pulisic has been useless lately.

Would be an incredible 3 points if we somehow managed it but I can’t see how we do it with this team we have available.

I would imagine the wide CBs will help at times like we have seen in the past because those 2 love coming narrow to give room to their fullbacks.

Particularly Rudiger on Salah, he has had a good few games where he has played well against him. Wouldn’t say they were overly impressive last game either.

This is what I want to see from Pulisic

In terms of making an impact, that was arguably the game he was most effective in based on the minutes he played that night.

Was also one of the worst defensive performances under FL in his 18 months here and that says a lot.

CHO needs to sit out. Squandering far too many chabces.

It's been just over a week since he played a huge part in all three goals at Villa (his finishing needs improvement though no arguments there). If he was dropped for an in form player I'll get it but Pulisic has done the square route of fuck all ever since Madrid.

That said Liverpool do seem a favourite opponent of his as @Nero has just reminded so hopefully he rips up the formbook today.
