Not sure where we go from here as in the title race, we are probably out of the running now or one more draw/loss from being out of it.

Suppose stranger things have happened but we also have to worry about whats behind us too as the gaps decreasing.

Our title chances evaporated once Chilly went down against Juve. He was in red hot form and the high pressing wing back pairing gave the team a relentless attacking threat. Every injury or COVID issue just compounds the misery. But Chilwell going down totally changes our team both defensively and going forward.

Struggling to see how we score any goals from open play until we get some firepower back. Even then it’s not like those players were doing much. Whereas City and Liverpool are unstoppable scoring machines.

It was going to be next to impossible to create much today. Wolves had 2 banks of 3 in the centre of the park, the only space for us was out wide where we don't have effective attacking players and there's about 1% chance of Pulisic winning a ball in the middle against 3 Wolves centre backs well over 6 foot. That Pulisic chance had to go in as chances were always going to be few and far between.

We just have to accept where we are at the moment, literally decimated by injuries and Covid and from what it appears Chalobah and Ziyech both came off injured today too. The only way it may stop is if either the Villa game is called off (bearing in mind there game yesterday was postponed due to a Covid outbreak you wouldn't expect is cleared up by Boxing Day) or there's a break now over Xmas.

We could end up finding ourselves this season in a position in between everyone else where we're ahead of the pack chasing top 4 but not close enough to challenge City and Liverpool. That might not be the worst position to find ourselves in the latter part of the season if we're still in cup competitions and Europe as for once it may give us an opportunity to rest and rotate to concentrate on them instead of having to go full pelt in everything at the end of the season.

Things can still change obviously but not sure why people are surprised by our faltering form in the title race. It was also gonna be a big ask to suddenly go from Top 4 scrapers to title challengers and matching the consistency of Manchester City and Liverpool in the space of one season. Yes, injuries and COVID have caused issues recently but easy to forget that this group haven't had a title challenge together as a group compared to the other two teams. City and Liverpool took a while to get going when Guardiola and Klopp first went there and even we had needed at least one season to "prepare" before winning the league in the past (2003/04 and 2013/14). A sustained title challenge of some sort or just a comfortable 3rd place finish without scraping for a Top 4 place again would already be an improvement on previous seasons.

On a plus side, Kante and Kovacic are back. Other Covid lads back next week. Chilwell will be assessed next week, and most importantly ,Defence looked good today.

Thing is we've won 2 out of out last 6 games..unless we suddenly go on a roll and City and Liverpool don't then they're gone. And we still have both of them to play. 

I dont think we'll drop out of top 4 and scramble,better not anyway!

Arse are winning or at least not losing nonstop these days. They also have no COVID issues and have no European football to tire their players.

All they really need to do is smack the shit teams below them like they’ve been doing whilst we drop points to all of those same teams.

Yeahhhhh....theyve climbed from the bottom to 4th..and quietly! Sure they'll drop points but so are we..a lot. Need to get a winning run going then all be good but unfortunately..not happening.

City finished 15pts  behind us in the first pep season and walked the league with 100 points the year after. I don’t think you need a year to compete first before winning the league

our title challenge wen tout the window the moment Chilwell picked up that injury. Before that I would not have dismissed it altogether
