That United team is utterly horrendous and they’ve clearly gone for numbers in midfield to stop us playing. They’re going to try to turn this into a shitfest in order to steal a point or maybe even a jammy winner. McTominay, Fred, and Matic are in there for one reason and that’s to stop Jorginho getting on the ball.

Even with so many key players out of the XI we SHOULD be winning this comfortably in the form we’re in.

Wan Bisaka - Lindelof - Bailly - Telles at the back  for them .

Sorry but we should to beat this defence easy .

3dms that’s the kind of Mourinho shithousery. But only 2 quick players in attack. Need to prevent the counters and should be fine

bad feeling bc of AT tho

Also, CR7 starting on the bench should be an instant hint to Tuchel that United will initially try to blitz and press us early on before setting up deep as the game goes on. So hopefully our players aren’t stunned or caught off guard by them coming quick out of the blocks rather than parking the double decker from minute one.

Let us also pray that Alonso had a great week of training and isn’t rusty as a tin can here. 😬

You right, but... Christensen is world class since months.

Rudiger and Silva are our 2 most important players in defense. Chris has been good but at the moment Chalobah deserves to play ahead because:

1. he offers more in attack

2. in CL and PL this season we conceded 3 open play goals (Chris was on the pitch for all 3 and Chalobah for zero)

3. contract situation - Chalobah signed, Chris still did not

But we have 3 PL games in 6 days basically so I am sure there will be a lot of rotation.

Especially 2 away games Wednesday evening - Saturday early kick off will be tricky. We need all players! Positive is that both games are in London (or close).
