They’re going to try to turn this into a shitfest in order to steal a point or maybe even a jammy winner. McTominay, Fred, and Matic are in there for one reason and that’s to stop Jorginho getting on the ball. So hopefully our players aren’t stunned or caught off guard by them coming quick out of the blocks rather than parking the double decker from minute one. Chris has been good but at the moment Chalobah deserves to play ahead because: 1. he offers more in attack 2. in CL and PL this season we conceded 3 open play goals (Chris was on the pitch for all 3 and Chalobah for zero) 3. contract situation - Chalobah signed, Chris still did not But we have 3 PL games in 6 days basically so I am sure there will be a lot of rotation. Especially 2 away games Wednesday evening - Saturday early kick off will be tricky. We need all players! Positive is that both games are in London (or close).
