Maybe they are out for 2-3 weeks but club don't want to leak anything about their condition to make them unavailable to pick for next international break.

Pretty sure the NT medical staff would do their own check on the players or at least ask the medical report of the players, which one can't fake it. 

I can see maybe Hansi Flick not calling up Werner since Germany have already qualified for the WC but Roberto Martinez may do so with Belgium since they haven't qualified yet and it's Roberto Martinez.

That was odd, pretty straight forward answer 2-3 weeks. Maybe a little more if there are set backs. I didn't understand the Billy Gilmore statements either.  If he is not showing enough to earn minutes at Norwich, what makes anyone think he will with our midfield? Sometimes he seems to not want to offend too much? Was not his best moment in front of the press.

Not sure how this works.. Had similar thoughts when Southgate called up Reece while TT claimed he was doing underwater trainings. Do NT team medicals have oppurtunity to check upon players’ condition in person? Or have access to medical papers? I really don’t know.

 

Hopefully we will do well without Timo and Big Rom and they can sit out next shity International break..

More intl games with nations league and shit results in more int. breaks. This next one is the last for a few months but it is the normal schedule now. The impact of nations league has been mitigated a bit by the delayed euros so we had half a year without qualifiers but now fans really feel the impact of uefa/fifa greed.

Hopefully no lethargic, walking pace football here. We need to have the same mentality City and Liverpool have against Norwich and other teams of their ilk. We should be aggressively asserting ourselves and trying to score 4 or 5.

We should be smothering Norwich and not allowing them to pull a West Brom last season where they physically bully us because we thought we’d just show up and stroll it.

That Norwich XI is horrendous. Pretty easily the worst in the league and their position in the table is warranted.

No excuses here for us even without a recognized striker. With Liverpool and United playing each other we could potentially go 8 clear of the latter if results go our way. That could be massive for our top 4 chances even this early in the season.
