If that was true, it would certainly fit with what Simon Jordan has said on TalkSport

While it is possible , I don’t think it’s true. Too difficult to hide right under the noses of the very nosy media .

TT having lost the dressing room and his private life playing a part in his work as well as being a distraction and dent in his authority seems more probable. Totally can see this mentally weak squad obsessing about gossip. Also TT always had his favourite players and those he likes less. He always either falls out with a slowly but steadily growing number of players or his relationship with the executives goes sour once his temper gets strained by results going south. In Germany everyone looked on in astonishment how TT had matured in Paris in London. But you can only change your personality so much in a few years.

in Dortmund and Mainz he was viewed as a totally fragile genius like Beethoven. This extremely personable, sanguine and professional side he showed mostly during his time here was something completely new. I think Marina and Petr really understood him,  gave him a suitable working environment taking care of the rest while Todd‘s inclusive approach and lack of experience clearly deterred TT. While I can see a single bust up being the trigger for his sack the unlucky conjunction of the aforementioned factors was probably why his days were numbered

Interesting. Wonder what it is.

I mean if its about his private life though then it also begs the question, how bad is it to have been a hugely deciding factor that caused the club to sack him? I mean its not as if we haven’t had scandals before regarding private lives. For example, the Terry-Bridge situation and that was a pretty intense event at the time due to media coverage of it so it would have to be vastly catastrophic you’d of thought. Even the whole Abramovich-Putin links and sanction talks after that nerve agent attack however many years ago and then Russia-Ukraine more recently. Was a lot of noise and ultimately led to Boehly & co taking over. Eventually.

Theres talk that at this hearing in Munich, there is a lot of doubt about how true his ex-wife’s claims are. She had apparently put them in an email and sent it to him (to blackmail him maybe?) but I suppose we will see how it unfolds. Maybe she was jealous because he’s moved on as I think its been heavily journalised in most British papers since his divorce? Or maybe she does have something that Thomas did that is truly despicable, who knows? I suppose either way the injunction could be a form of damage control because even if these things are untrue, people may think what if he did? Maybe damage his reputation and affect him getting future employment?

That last season was hugely uncomfortable for him. The Lukaku interview, his marriage falling apart & divorce, the Russia-Ukraine questions, sanctions questions, ownership questions, will the club seize to exist etc all in the space of say 2 or 3 months so I think whatever the reasons, these things maybe contributed and wound him up. But until we know what the reasons are 100%, its only speculation.

What happened to the rumours about TT having had an affair with a female staff member at the club? I'm pretty sure I initially heard that rumour when someone mentioned it here.

Never heard that. At all. But who knows - hard to speculate now because its just been said to be about his private life so could mean anything.

Maybe I 'heard' it elsewhere then but, since I don't read newspapers or follow twitter, most of the Chelsea rumours I 'hear' come from here.

“It was a shock,” Tuchel said on Friday. “I felt it, strangely, when I drove to the training centre. The meeting we had felt unusual – and it turned out to be a very short meeting. It was 8am, or something, and it lasted three to five minutes. I was also not in the mood to talk longer.

“The decision had been made and, honestly, it was a shock for all of us. We had a feeling that we were in the right spot at the right time. We felt that we could achieve big things and we wanted to stay longer. We had big relationships, huge relationships within the staff. We still do. How long did it take me to get over? It still hurts in a way.

“We built an extraordinary bond in the circumstances. We started there during Covid, during Brexit – then came the change of ownership. We were a strong, strong group. It wasn’t in my hands to take this decision. I was no longer part of a group that felt like a family.”

Likewise I was also shock. Still don't understand the decision with Todd of getting rid of him and go with Potter. Dumbest move ever....well close to, because signing Lukaku was the biggest ever and that came before him...

Tuchel was not competitive in 3 different seasons in PL. Top4 was maximum. That's it.

The squad we had was really only capable of top 4 though on paper, every time these type of comments come up I am not entirely sure what people were expecting?

Theres no doubt Tuchel tactically and mentally gave us that bit more I think and in the CL run I think he played a much much bigger role than any of the players. I really think his experience in losing the CL final the previous season drove him and us and the competitive nature of the side in that run was hugely impressive. The groups mentality in that run up, was no doubt hugely influenced by him. I mean how many finals did we make with him? How many big games did we roll our sleeves up in and go on and win/get points where we wouldn’t have under previous managers? I don’t think people Will ever truly appreciate Tuchel’s time here fully firstly, because of the mystery surrounding why he left and second , maybe more importantly, because we couldn’t get between City and Liverpool. Despite having a manager on Klopp and Pep’s level it takes more than just an elite level manager unfortunately.

And look at whereabouts we are without him, if you don’t think he was competitive enough in 3 seasons here then I don’t know. I don’t think its any surprise TT has walked into one of the most prestigious jobs in world football at one of the best run clubs of the past 25 years.

Unfortunately we have really only been a club that has predominantly been “competitive enough” just to make the top 4 without challenging for the title since about 2011-12, barring the 2 league wins under Jose and Conte. So again, what did people want him to do? Even more so when you consider the juggernaut City and Liverpool sides of the last 5 years.

first half a season he catapulted us up from mid table to top 4, only city picked up more points in that time i believe.

2nd season we were challenging for the title until lukaku and russia drama derailed the season.

3rd season he got a handful of games.

I expected him to build on that CL win. We had best defense on the planet, barely conceding goals which is on him but no progress was ever made in attack. And defense got worse in second season. We were regressing. Absolutely nothing suggested he would change things in the future. Was backed with money from both Roman and Boehly. All the transfers in his time were questionable. Just doesn't seem like long term manager. In PSG also was on a track not to win title in season 3 which is very bad and happened in the end. Tuchel and Poch share responsibility for that. Let's see how he does in Munich but tonight was big blow in Cup.

Expected him to build on CL? Nobody expected us to win the CL at all as it was.

Not sure what planet your on but the first half of the season we were first before Lukaku’s interview, ownership issues and inconsistencies from the same inconsistent players we have now…. he even changed it back tactically dropping Lukaku for Havertz and reverting back to what we were in the last season but sure he should of won every trophy in his spell, despite the fact he made what 6 cup finals? Winning 3?

I suppose the next manager has to win every trophy every season to please you.

PSG made a mistake sacking him, as did we, clearly. But sure….. he ended up in Munich by luck? He will more than likely win more trophies in the next 2.5 years than we will - but undoubtedly he “should have done more here” even with everything else that was going on in the background the last yesr.

Talk about ungrateful  🤣

Will be remembered as a guy who failed to win titles with both Bayern and PSG. Must be the most embarrassing thing ever.

Don't speak too soon. They have to beat Augsburg first. No Bellingham also. Last time they had the chance to end the weekend on top, they blew it against Bochum couple weeks ago or so. Hope they do win though. Would be great for football if they win the league.
