Current squad, the only starters i can see are Ziyech, Reece and maybe Abraham

We need 8 new players

If we don't go and buy a top quality striker in the summer and continue with Tammy then we get what we deserve. Tammy isn't a major problem but if we are to go up another level and kick on like FL and the fans want Abraham cannot be mentioned.

The senior players are miles away from what this club should be, as for the younger lads they have got some serious developing to do and quickly. This is a five year project and that is not even taking into context us possibly doing what we are know for and sacking managers, because if that happens it's revert to type again.

I watched Jorginho last night on and off the ball, he looked like a child out there.

I really enjoyed watching Bayern last night  There is no flashy football from them. Instead, they function on power, pace and precision. The number of times they execute their chosen pass with the right accuracy, the right angle and the right speed is stupendous. We have a long way to go.

Teams with more pace in their squad, who can therefore afford to press Bayern more, and with better ball retention when they do recover it, will give the German champions a better game than we can.

They are just efficient and want to get to the front players quicker so they can do the damage. None of this fucking about passing around the back trying to look good and playing safe. Or trying to be Barcelona or Ajax or whoever. Good Bayern teams have always been like this. Under Jupp when they won the treble before Pep went there as well they were able to control games but they just wanted to go and get into the final third as often as they could.

Yeah, Keep moaning about Abraham but WHO is a top quality striker we can buy?

Lewandowski, Haaland, Kane, Cavani, Werner, Lautaro Martinez etc.??? Lmao. Wake up.

One of possible signings (like Moussa Dembele) is overpriced but I'm not sure they are far better than Abraham.

Its the hope that kills you, to have faith in FL and the team is good and all, but we cant put our heads in the sand. Neither the team and the manager are good enough at this level, one look at our stats in epl tell it all, we are very shite. Nevermind meeting a quality and rested Bayern. Will we come good? I honestly cant say, you cant be this inconsistent and naive and hope it will all come good. The board ought to take most of the blame, they have been shambolic, amateurs.

'The Bayern guys were certainly sipping whisky and having a good old time and then they went and shellacked Chelsea.

How they, on the power of whisky and beer, overpowered Chelsea last night doesn't say much for Chelsea's drinking habits

I just watched the first half between Lyon and Juventus.

Lyon smashed them, 1:0 at the break and they hit the crossbar also.

And we are moaning about the difference in quality, injuries, their world class players and other stuff

That's bullshit, fucking excuses. Lyon is playing without two best players, Lyon an absolute underdog against Juventus one of the favorites to win the competition.

What is the difference between them and us, they showed desire, a fighting spirit they showed balls at their own stadium they will not give up easily.

What did we do, gave up even before the game, ahhh they are too strong, we have so many injured players blah blah blah

That's not to reason to play like a bunch of fucking amateurs, without passion, energy, and desire.

Defeat is not a problem, really but you need to show something especially at your fucking stadium, shame on our players

It is not exactly news that this current team is absolutely spineless without much of a fight left in them. The big characters left and the coaching staff is not experienced to get the rest motivated. The Bayern are much better than this ancient juve side led by the clueless chainsmoker

I agree with you, Juve is overrated shit this year. They are winning on individual quality and some luck but when you watch them play, they are shit.

But when it comes to the lack of passion, energy, motivation I can't blame coach or coaching staff it's up to players to pull that out. Look this Lyon squad not too much quality but they were great

Reece, Kovacic and Giroud were the only ones who gave it their all

and Reece finally ran into a better, more physical athlete in Davies

If Giroud was 25 we would be set for years at CF, or at least have a great 2nd option

we are so fucked at a back 3 CB trio of Azpi, AC, and a completely off the boil Rudiger

the squad is broken in terms of playing with truly elite teams

and that was a Bayern team far from full strength due to a lot of injuries
