Because they have another game on Tuesday and are probably hoping he's fit to play then. Would be good if he can get some match fitness before returning but only if he's actually fit and there's no risk of aggravating the knee injury further. The I jury came at a terrible time but at least he has trained with the team for some weeks. Last season we struggled with the quality of our the final/key pass to unlock defenses as well as of set piece delivery . He is arguably one of  the best fixes in world football here.
