if his mates learn how to pass him the ball, yes

today two identical movements and assists = one good foster save and one goal

We don't deserve to play in the UCL next season at all, but I'll take that. Arsenal totally blew it as only a month ago they had series of winnable matches and they lost 3 in a row and drew against Brighton today. Guess they're not more deserving of that top 4 spot, are they?

Unpopular opinion maybe but aslong as we get a viable alternative/safety net I wouldn't actually mind.

His movement is actually fantastic and a reason we have improved our play vs low block teams, BUT as was clearly shown at Old Trafford he's a non entity against sides who leave space in behind so we need another striker who's usefully in those type of games.

Ironically Morata would compliment him in that regard as he's useless against low block sides but relitevely successful against sides who leave space.

perfect as always tomo

edit:  maybe next year chelsea will be able to dominate even against big teams. but need some upgrades in the midfield and wingers

Might argue that we should never have been in this position to begin with. We were sitting nicely in 4th at the turn of the year - ahead of Arsenal and Man United and only 4 points behind Man City then - but we barely scraped into the Top 4 in the end.

That's it. We had a good gap that we lost so suddenly. Feels nice to know at least won't be dreading Sunday so much now.

Just look at how we started the season (18 unbeaten IIRC). We reach our league objective in the end, so we ought to be pleased despite the fashion in doing so.

Happy with end result? Yes. Happy with how we got there? No, the football has been dire and with the inconsistent performances, uncertainties, it's hard to tell how we'll fare next season and beyond.

If we have a ban I dread to think how quick our CL go will be.. Hopefully we manage to serve that one. If they ever have a say!

Dont want another season with this dire pass pass pass pass mess it up play

I added to more original post and put the performances after Christmas to one side.

We certainly have alot of work to do in the summer with or without a ban.

We had a decent first half of the season because Sarri-ball was kinda working for us in the beginning. Considering we've been found out and were lacking plan B ever since January, we were humiliated by Bournemouth and City, etc.. I'd say it's a decent finish in the end. But then again we got lucky Arsenal and Man Utd turned out to be even worse in the decisive matches at the end.
