It's nothing.

Drogba’s night only lasted 28 minutes after the striker limped off with an injury. He gave an update on his situation afterwards.

‘I twisted my ankle and I couldn’t continue,’ the Ivorian explained. ‘In the next few days we are going to do some treatment and I hope everything will be better.

How do Marca know this before any credible English paper? meh.

Marca absolutely hate Mourinho and provide anything that could potentially unbalance himself or the club he's managing. (How could they possibly access this information before any English journalism?) Wouldn't be surprised if they made this up aswell as the 70% of bollocks they publish about Mourinho.

Marginally better??

Costa is a top-class striker which we didn't have last season, whilst Drogba is still a very good box presence.

We're much better in the striking department.

Costa is a massive upgrade but I'm not sold on how much of an impact Drogba will be. Plus José seems set on playing Torres out wide based on what we've seen so far this pre-season.

Not sure if this has already been posted.

This is a fantastic photo.... shows how well the new signings have settled in.

Good job all around !

It's good to see them blending in aswell, rather seeing the brazilians hanging with the brazilians and the Spanish with the Spanish. We have a very diverse group and it's always a warm feeling when you see them mingle with one another as if they've been friends for years. Great way to build chemistry.

If he's out for 4-6 months that means we NEED to buy another striker. Might not be a bad thing if we end up buying a younger more durable striker. Drogba can still work with the team and keep the mood up and then be our impact player at the end of the season.
