LayZ 201
Let's hope for DD's sake he gets to lift the African Cup of Nation's this time...losing twice on penalties is just cruel, his miss from the spot against Egypt in 2006 was heartbreaking enough...losing to Zambia despite scoring must have been even more frustrating for the man..then again he has always been one to take it on the chin... Ollie 4,400
Have you guys seen this? Not great quality but Incredible stuff.PS: Apologies if it's a re-post. That was rather emotional. Shame it's 5 years old, i'd live to see a newer one. I can't say enough about him, i love him and i miss him so much. He's a true living legend and my only wish now is to see him win the African cup of Nations. i want them to win it so much, you would not believe. If there is a God, DD will lift that trophy one day. Those video's were fantastic. What a man. I'm sure he's happy he came to Chelsea now lol but he shoulda gone back to Marseille after us or gone to the USA. I'm sure he still has a lot more to offer the game.

chelseathebest 150
Hell, I fucking miss him. It's not the same without him. This new Chelsea generation is really quality and nice, but I'd always pick Drogba and his era over them... didierforever, headhunter23, Blue Armour and 1 other

Rambo 1,729
Not sure if posted or not.Lion of Munich Didier Drogba has been voted Chelsea’s greatest player of all time in a poll of 20,000 fans. The Ivory Coast striker Drogba grabbed the equaliser against Bayern in May’s European Cup Final, before slotting home the decisive spot-kick in the penalty shoot-out against the German giants. He pipped second-placed England midfielder Frank Lampard to the top spot, with skipper John 'Captain, leader, legend' Terry coming fourth.Drogba, 34, said: “This makes me honoured and proud because so many big players have been at the club before me – and at the same time as me.“It is unbelievable. All of these players have done such good things for the club and, when I came here, I could see how much people loved them.“To be voted alongside these big names is an absolute privilege for me.“When I joined Chelsea, I came to play my part and I’m so happy to have been part of the club’s history.“My ambition was to win all the major trophies in England, and I think awards like this and success go together.“To make history, you have to win big prizes for the fans and the club. They then decide if they want to make you a big figure in the club’s history.”Drogba’s heroics in the Allianz Arena proved to be his Chelsea swan-song before joining Shanghai Shenhua in China. He paid tribute to former team-mate Lampard, adding: “Frank is the best midfield player that I played with, the most intelligent and efficient.”See the full list of the top 100 Blues players in the Chelsea magazine, which is on sale on Thursday.http://www.mirror.co...reatest-1410537

Amblève. 4,995
The voting is a joke. It should have taken place in a year or two, not a couple of months after Munich. Too biased.
Hutcho 8,443
I can see why he was voted there and he is definately one of the greats, though for me it has to super frankie, due to everything he has achieved for us, and his goalscoring record is unbelievable for a midfielder and he is the biggest legend of all legends... SIR FRANKIE LAMPARD.
