However, I have no problem in stating that DD together with Petr won us the CL on their own.   That's why his squad number couldn't be anymore appropriate  In a lot of games, he was the team Blue_Fox_, The Skipper, Peace. and 2 others

Being a coach - especially at a top club like Chelsea - is a serious profession. Lampard and Drogba were great players, but if they want to be coach at Chelsea they have to study and probably gain experience at ther clubs. For example, Steve Holland started his coaching education at the age of 20 and worked more then 15 years before he joined Chelsea Reserves. Alessio also worked for several small Italian club before becoming Conte's assistant at Cagliari. Tomo

Oh, I don't think Lamps or Didier coming in and start being part of Conte's staff like Giggs did with Van Gaal is a good idea. Let them start with the youth teams. Having these legends training/supporting the youth and it's staff is a great asset to have. They can teach these youngsters allot. nyikolajevics
Leif 6,006
Yup, any legends like Drogba who could be used in a coach role would benefit the youth far more than the first team. But, when you're at this age, you don't want to start another day to day job, you want to finally live off of all the money you've made over your career. So i doubt we'll be getting any legends returning as full-time coaches at all. It's too contrived and expected of them. I don't sense they actually desire it. LDN Blue 7,903
Didier Drogba's charity cleared of fraud, but criticised for undermining public's trust Cleared of Daily Mail's accusations of fraud, but shows how much money the foundation has wasted of 'lavish parties' instead of doing the work they actually promised to do. Hopefully Drogba will sort this out, but goes to show how 'charity' really works lol.. Blue Armour
