Europa League is the only way Chelsea gets into CL next season.

But for that we will need to sack Sarri and get an Interim Manager ... Our results under Interim Managers are mind-blogging. CL, Europa, FA!!!

Not true Hiddink was atrocious in his 2nd spell here worse than anything we are witnessing right now

We just have to accept we got a middle of the road loan player in. He looks good in comparison to the absolute horse we sent to Atletico, but he's simply a middle road stop gap.

His movement at times is good but he is slow and laboured most of the time. He will get goals because he still has the 'want' but apart from that we simply have to take what. we get from him, end of.

Win at Everton next week we are joint 4th , 1 point behind Spurs who are 3rd , played the same as them next week(no game for Spurs-Arsenal-Utd)don't know why so many people writing us off with 9 games to go ?!

Why? For exactly what we did today ... Inconsistency!!! We ourselves cant be confident that we could pull off the next 4-5 games.

United have got their common sense back so they are clearly doing well ... Arsenal are inconsistent as well but it primarily against the big team and I dont think they have any big team left. So clearly favs to be top 4. And Spurs I think they would be safe, it would be a disaster if they drop.

In his first he did win the FA ... right. So out of 5 odd Interim we won nearly won 2 CL, Europa, FA. Comment was in general.

Arsenal are awful away from home.

I honestly think it is unfair to judge Higuain at this point. He looks pretty decent to me. The whole team is set up wrong. What service does he really get? Yes, he could have scored a few more but from observing our horrific attacking patterns... I'm not sure many strikers would blossom in this current side.

But Morata got so much stick for being shit. Higuaín has not been much of an upgrade at all. 3 goals against two relegated teams and other than that he looks lethargic and is easily shifted out the game.

He was never going to set the World on fire. He has done a fairly decent job to be honest, nice link up play, few goals and poses a threat when he get's chances. More than what we've had since Costa.

If you compare Higuain to what we had after Costa, then sure, he does look decent but overall, Higuain hasn't been great really. All this praise about his movement, link-up play is almost like people used to praise Torres for working hard etc when he's supposed to be scoring the goals.

Not really an apt comparison. A better one would be Eto'o for his first few months here, off the pace but still evident why he has the record he did.

Another poor move and assessment of Sarri busted!.. While elsewhere Piatek keeps firing from every angle...

We have much bigger problems than Higuain.. Defense, midfield.. I think Pipita has been doing quite ok, but he is a CF, a classic striker, if the teams is doing wrong he can't do a miracle.

Milan had a great february but now their form is worse and so is Piatek's. They played against Inter yesterday, they lost 2-3 and Piatek was Mr. Anonymus.

Still doesn't change the fact that Higuain has been somewhat underwhelming.

'Underwhelming' or not - would say underwhelming is a bit harsh for someone who was never fully fit - hes shown everything you'd want.  Im glad that when the ball goes in to him he can hold it up unlike Morata (who I was a massive fan of) and Torres.  Its not a lot but it helps. His movement is still good and he was unlucky not to score that chance Jorginho (the man who doesnt assist...) set him up with. I think if he had been here in the summer he would of been fit and he would be on 10-15 goals easily. Interesting now to see if we sign him or not but I think in terms of a stop gap whos proven he can play at the highest level, there arent many better out there. Realistically we are never gonna get the likes of Jovic or Werner who everyones clamoring for (Jovic is going to go to the likes of a Real, Juve or Barca this summer coming or next 100% and Werner will be a Bayern player inevitably) was ever gonna go for Piatek after 6 months of goals for a mid table Italian side.

Obviously Piatek would have been the way better move as almost everyone here said. But sure Sarri wanted his Higuain and like everyone of Sarri's ideas, an idea from yesterday.. Not that he is a bad player. Just so much worse then everything else we could have had if the board would have one bit of sense and not trust this fraud.

Higuains movement has been absolutely sublime tbf even vs Everton. It is just everything else that has been shit, mainly his mobility and finishing. That is why I hope he gets at least one of the games vs Prague who are error-prone defensively so he can score a few and get in the groove again. How can lack match sharpness tho? he has been training with the team for 2 months and always gets midweek off. he should be fresh as fuck. He is 31 thats still ok for a striker, Drogs had his best season aged 32. I just hope that if we can keep him next season, he has one good year left in the tank cos everything will depend on it. I miss the times of having a world class striker more than ever because we do not even have a world class goal-scoring midfielder.
