Thiago  (superb buy by the dippers, I do NOT like them getting him, and btw, yes he is a Spanish national team player, but he was born in Italy, and lived in Brasil too, and is Brasilian genetically)

Pablo Sarabia  (last season on the list, as he turns 30 towards the end of the season after this one)

To be fair, Cuntois is the best air commander in the world. So for the defenders it was very difficult going from watching Courtois catch every set piece, and the season after having to do everything their self.

I also think people are way too hard for Kepa. I think the kid tries his best. He is not a murderer, it is still a game.

Lollichon being our keeper scout must have had a major influence in signing Kepa.

He is also the 1st to notice Mendy - before Petr did.

Lets pray to the atoms this one turns out better.

Not sure how sad I keel about Kepa tho. On one hand his head must have got fucked up when his Mrs left him. But hes made a few quid and doesnt need to do bugga all for the rest of his life!

I always say he is a nice guy, and its not personal. I do not hate him at all as a person. Hell, he probably would be one of the players I met get on best with out at a club (Bats for sure too).

 I simply think he is pure dogshit as a keeper 

A lot of it is on the fucking shit scouts and the board too. We never should have moved for him, and certainly not for that level of cash.

It was widely reported Kepa was Sarri's choice and he wanted to sign him at Napoli (on Reina's recommendation) but for many reasons it was a non starter.

You forgot the top two, both of whom are better than Traore.

Rodri and now Dipperpool's Thiago.

Plus Ferran Torres definitely has the potential to be better as well.

Not sure you can say that. Mata was good for us. DDG was the best gk in the world for 3/4 years.

In recent times:

Diego Costa, bit of a prick for opposition teams but on song, ice cold and we probably got the best football of his career out of him with Mourinho for 6 or 7 months and then another 6 months with Conte. Although he was also v good at Atletico prior to signing here for a season and a half.

Fabregas - one of the best midfielders in PL history IMO, just look at his stats his career will always be underrated but he has 350 PL games, 50 PL goals and 111 PL assists (2nd highest behind Giggs IIRC). Pretty much tells you everything you need to know, CM player getting that much assists is rare, more than Lampard and Gerrard also.

De Gea - arguably best GK in Europe for a few seasons regardless of how you look at him now 

David Silva - wasn’t a flashly player but top top player, spacial awareness, final pass, close control everything

Azpi - rock solid and that fee makes it even harder to argue how good he is and the buy, not many better defenders over the period hes been here. 

Torres (Liverpool) - no words needed he used to score against us and United for fun every time we played them. 

Xabi Alonso - another hugely underrated MF when he was here IMO, top top player and his successes at Real and Bayern proved that. Just a pity he didnt play under a more offensive minded manager in the PL. 

Pepe Reina - love him or hate him very good for them cunts for a period, not everyone’s cup of tes or world class as such as some in this list could be considered but pretty good. 

Santi Cazorla - another underrated buy, two footed, excellent in close areas, final pass, very good signing maybe if he was a few years younger people would of realised how good he actually was. 

Mata - pre United move one of the best playmakers in league and Europe. Just a pity he lacked pace or the ability to keep the ball better under pressure at time as he could have adjusted to playing as a wide forward or wide 10.

No, lollichon said last season that he was against signing Kepa and he wanted Areola instead. But the club decided to go for Kepa
