If he goes in the summer I’ll thank him and be fine with him leaving. If he signs a new deal and stays I’m fine with it as well.

Very good player to have in the squad but someone who I wouldn’t be terribly upset at losing if it means we upgrade.

He always had the right attitude -could read the game better than most- and thanks for all the tackles that he took a card for, but stopped an almost certain goal being conceded 🖕

Hold the bus, might need to keep him yet if theres no deal for Fernandez…

Jorginho is leaving to Arsenal no matter what.

If no Enzo, get out the lube, cuz our MF is likely a potential assfuck with no kiss nor chocolates and flowers.

Jorginho is one of these odd players who managed the feat of being both overrated and underrated at the same time.

For me, he's a good player with very specific characteristics, which means he'll excel in specific systems and struggle (mediocre) in others. unfortunately, I think he will thrive under Arteta's, which makes Arsenal a disappointing destination in my book.

All in all, I think he had his moments for us, so thank you and (some) good luck! 😉

ngl i’m gutted he joined Arsenal, but this one doesn’t sting like the Cech transfer. i thank him for all his service for us, was an integral part of our recent european success, did his job and was a top professional, but it’s time to say goodbye, from now on we are rivals. Cheers

People have gone very quite on him lately. What happened to "what a fantastic signing by Arteta and Arsenal!"? Only 105 minutes in 8 Premier League games, since the 1st of March.

Arteta is not tinkering with the team that had them leading the table, for better or worse. He has not started since Partley got back from injury. That was he was brought in for.

☝️

That and perhaps he's not as good as he used to be. While 31yo is a good age for a footballer these days, the loss of pace that takes place at around 30yo may affect players very differently; sometimes it's not as pronounced, or other times the player did not rely on it so much anyway.
Jorginho tho, he's not a particularly powerful player, esp for that position, so he does rely on pace and quickness, which may not be the same anymore. He may still be a good player, but perhaps he's just past his best? it happens to everyone.
