Olivier Giroud

He's a decent asset when on a run of form like he is at the moment, his problem however is he seems to have one prolonged spell a season where he goes on a destructive goal drought and his play drops to bang average levels, he cost Arsenal the title in 2016 because of that.

He's going to be needed if the ban isn't lifted this summer

Speaking after the 4-3 win at Stamford Bridge, Sarri said: “He [Giroud] is sure [to stay] because the club has an option for another year, another season. I spoke to the club two days ago and we agreed to exercise the option. So, he will remain.”

Olivier Giroud is yet to sign a new Chelsea contract and there is interest in him back in France. Nice president Gauthier Ganaye has hinted at a move.

“He is at the end of his contract, he still performs well at his age,” Ganaye told Telefoot. Giroud is 32. “Come on, let’s tell you it’s possible. His salary? Yeah, it’s really expensive."

Just look at that posture man.....fucking hell. You can straight away see she is a monster to work with. The king has taken a permanent vacation and put in his place an imposter.

Makes sense. I'd have probably kept him myself anyway before the ban because he's an excellent backup striker.

In the current position we're in with the ban, it's even more vital he's retained. I've no problem Abraham or Bats given a chance next season to stake their claim but at present Giroud is the only striker on our books we really know what he's about and what he brings.
